SENORITA S. (G3), 8TH-HOL, $100,000, 3YO, F, 1MT, 4:35 P.M. PDT, 5-2

PP HORSE TRAINER JOCKEY WT
1 PULPIT MAGIC DOMINGUEZ CAESAR F BLANC B 117
2 I'MNEVERWRONG (IRE) CASSIDY JAMES ESPINOZA V 117
3 ELUSIVE GALAXY (IRE) CECIL B D A BAZE T C 115
4 HASTY (IRE) CASSIDY JAMES GARCIA MARTIN 115
5 COZI ROSIE SADLER JOHN W SMITH M E 119
6 CITY TO CITY HOLLENDORFER JERRY ROSARIO JOEL 121
7 ANDINA (IRE) CECIL B D A TALAMO JOSEPH 119
8 TRIPLE CREAM HOFMANS DAVID BEJARANO R 117

CITY TO CITY (City Zip) is the filly to beat in Sunday's $100,000 Senorita S. (G3) at Hollywood Park, but we're going to try to do just that with ANDINA (Ire) (Singspiel [Ire]). The Ben Cecil trainee has run behind City to City in the China Doll S. and Providencia S. (G2), but closed the margin last out to be just a half-length back on the wire. The chestnut lass could put it all together in this one under Joe Talamo.

City to City has captured three of her last four races and will be going for her third straight stakes victory in this one-mile turf test. Conditioned by Jerry Hollendorfer, the three-year-old lass earned a career- and field-best 99 BRIS Speed rating for her Providencia score last out and will keep Joel Rosario aboard. City to City has won from off-the-pace and while setting the pace, so she'll be tough no matter where she is on the backstretch.

PULPIT MAGIC (Pulpit) could add some value to the exotics off a ninth-place run in the Providencia. The Caesar Dominguez runner broke her maiden going the distance and was a nice third against allowance/optional claiming rivals two back. She could last a long way on the front and find a place for herself in the top three under Brice Blanc.

I'MNEVERWRONG (Ire) (Compton Place) posted a pair of nice wins in her last two, breaking her maiden and taking a one-mile allowance by one length on the front. The James Cassidy charge doesn't look fast enough to lead this field, but she could be close to the pace and stick around in the exotics. ELUSIVE GALAXY (Ire) (Elusive City) ran a nice fourth in the Natalma S. (Can-G3) for trainer G.M. Lyons before being transferred to Cecil. She was out of her class when trying the Breeders' Cup Fillies Juvenile Turf in her first start for her new shedrow, ending up 11th, but has shown much more in her last two starts against this type of company. Consider for the gimmicks.

HASTY (Ire) (Invincible Spirit) will be making her U.S. debut in this spot and could earn a check. TRIPLE CREAM (Tapit) just broke her maiden and may need a bit more experience before tackling this level. COZI ROSIE (Pleasantly Perfect) made her turf bow in the Providencia and ran a one-paced seventh. We can't recommend in this grass test based on that performance.

1st-ANDINA (Ire)
2nd-CITY TO CITY
3rd-PULPIT MAGIC

Here is today's opening race from Belmont Park to get our day off to a good start:

BEL Race 1 Alw $30,000N1X (1:00 ET)
#4 Lady Apple 15/1
#1 Every Little Thing 3/1
#8 Tuscana 2/1
#7 Fiddlers Zephyr 5/1

Analysis: #4 Lady Apple is one of three in here that has beaten winners, taking a state bred $15K non winners of two last out, drawing clear to win by 5 3/4 lengths. It was not a very tough group she beat, but she has come back with a pair of bullet works and she should move forward with the extra ground on the stretch out to a mile. She is by Saint Liam out of an Eltish mare that won going long on turf and dirt. She will have to jump up to win here, but worth a look if we see most of the 15/1 ML.

#1 Every Little Thing rolled over state bred $15K non winners of two in her last outing by ten lengths as the heavy favorite. Two have come out of the race to run back with one next out winner. The filly was claimed out of her last start by the Contessa barn that is 16% winners first off the claim. She is the logical one to beat here as the likely favorite.

Wagering
WIN: #4 to win at 6/1 or better.
EX: 1,4 / 1,4,7,8
TRI: 1,4 / 1,4,7,8 / 1,4,7,8,9

Today's Featured Race of the Day from Belmont Park:

BEL Race 9 NY Stallion Times Square (5:17 ET)
#3 Zealous Boy 10/1
#6 General Maximus 7/5
#7 Make Note 7/2
#10 Cajun Jet 4/1

Analysis: #3 Zealous Boy made a good late rally and drew off to a good looking maiden winner in his debut on the inner track with "No Go" in the irons. Some of these NY Stallion Series races are not very tough and this guy may move forward enough to be in the mix here in his first go against winners. I like the jock upgrade here from "No Go" to Coa.

#6 General Maximus returns off a 2 1/2 month break after catching a tough group of allowance runners going a one turn mile at Gulfstream Park. The colt set the early fractions before backing up and finishing fourth behind a pair of Dutrow runners including Homeboykris, who ran in the Derby yesterday. He will appreciate the drop in to race restricted NY breds here, but I am not expecting to see much of a price.

Wagering
WIN: #3 to win at 9/2 or better.
EX: 3,6 / 3,6,7,10
TRI: 3,6 / 3,6,7,10 / 2,3,6,7,10

Live Longshots:
These are price plays for exotic players looking to find a couple of extra contenders to use in their trifecta and superfecta wagers. Or for those with smaller bankrolls, you might want to get in a small win-place wager.
