Started this yesterday in tracking it went 8-3 and was posted on Twitter.

Going to follow this to see where it heads.

Rank is where the team ranks in overs for the first period. In this case we are talking about Over 1.5

The number next to the rank ( + or - ) is the number of games in a row they have gone over 1.5. Note this isn't just them, it's the combined in their game. A +1 is you see with the NY Rangers means they have played 1 game in a row over 1.5. A -4 as you in Arizona means they have played 4 games in a row where it went under 1.5 goals.

Last 10 combined is the record for both teams.

The Bet column is a recommendation based on the last 10 combined.

Anything 11-9 and better is an Over play.
10-10 is a pass
Anything 9-11 or worse is an Under play.

To date when the top 5 have faced off with one another the record is 30 wins and 4 losses. The last loss took place yesterday with San Jose/Columbus.

No matchups today.

The highlighted in yellow is either the best combined or worst combined for the day.

Any questions or comments, fire away.

I know it's late to the party but the party isn't over. Better late than never.

Added a new column for streak of Over 1.5 and included yesterdays record along with the combined overall record.

Three teams tonight on 5+ streaks to the under.

Colorado and Anaheim at 5 with Nashville leading the way at 7.

New Jersey and Montreal has the best combined over streak at 17-3 and stands to bear the high juice of the day. Odds listed were as of 1115AM Eastern

Few sidenotes:

Anaheim has gone under for the full game 7 of the last 9 with Vancouver

Nashville has won 7 of the last 8 with Edmonton.

We have a top 6 match up tonight. With Pittsburgh and Columbus. Noting that the current odds are only at -210 compared to much higher odds we have seen recently.

San Jose on a 9-1 run along with Winnipeg 8-2 on the flip side we have Nashville 1-9 with 8 straight unders.

Yesterday went 3-2 raising the overall record to 14-6.

With 11 games and no passes we shall see how this progresses tonight.

Some tidbits

Washington has won 7 of the last 8 vs Ottawa.
Pittsburgh has won 11 of the last 14 vs Columbus
Montreal has won 9 of the last 11 vs Detroit

Good Luck and I look forward to your input.

Top 6 match-up last night another winner even with an overturned goal. Nashville continued its under streak now standing at 9.

For today we have a top 8 match-up with the Lightning/Rangers.

New Jersey playing to the over 8-2 along with the #1 rated Blackhawks also at 8-2. On the flip side we have Colorado at 2-8 with 6 straight unders.

Food for thought:

Tonight we have #1 Chicago vs #30 Anaheim. We had Dallas #31 vs #2 Tampa Bay a few days ago and it was the same kind of set up as we have tonight.

While that game went over, it was Dallas that provided the two goals in the first period.

A lot of books are finally catching up with the numbers by raising the juice, going to over/under 2 or having the game OTB. It pays to have more than one out because the lines are vastly different from book to book.

The odds shown in the spreadsheet are from sportsbook which a lot of people use. Note they use a 30 cent line while a lot of other shops are dealing a 20 cent line. It all adds up over time.

No tidbits for today except to date the tidbits I have posted are 5-0 and not included in the overall record.

Yesterday 6-5 bringing the overall record to 20-11.

Add in tidbits and we are looking at 25-11.

Good luck on your plays today and if you aren't a member of the forum as of yet, get off the sidelines and into the action. I'd love to have you aboard.

Special shout out to Mitch Moss and Paulie from VSIN!

Tough day for the upper rated teams for the over. It showed here as well with a 1-4 day.

FL/VGK have the lowest overall combined record tonight and if you are playing the under, play it early and get the plus juice.

Good luck today.

New Jersey brings in a 9-1 Over trend tonight and leads the match-up overall with a 15-5 combined. San Jose also comes in at 9-1 and the oddsmakers give this a higher chance of going over than New Jersey based on the current odds.

Nashville on the opposite side comes in with 9 straight unders.

Vegas and Anaheim have the lowest last 10 combined with a 7-13 mark.

Should be an interesting night.

Good Luck no matter what you do.

5 of the top 6 over First Period teams are in action today highlighted by Tampa Bay and Ottawa 2 vs 7. Word of caution with this match up as Ottawa is not the same team they were before the trade deadline.

We also have the best under 1st Period in Dallas along with bottom 5 teams Buffalo and Detroit.

Going to be an interesting day of action from 105 to 1005 Eastern tonight.

We have a top 6 match up today to end the night. By the time we get there this game will be juiced even more than it is now. People will use it as a bailout if they lost earlier in the day.

We also have two of the lowest combined streaks going in 5-15 with Colorado/Anaheim and the reverse streaking Nashville on a 10 game under streak against Minnesota.

We also have #4 Columbus going today.

Have a winning day and I hope to see you as a member of the forum soon.

Small card today. Both games lean to the under. Go 1-1 and make $$ Believe there is a major line error in the Calgary game as -180 is really steep for these two under trending clubs.

Another win for the followthemoney5 now at 32-4 if memory serves correct. Please correct me if I am off.

Nashville continued their under streak now at -11.

6-1 yesterday and 12-4 the last two days.

We keep rolling.

Special welcome to all new members and visitors of this thread.

0-2 yesterday as goals galore in the first period.

Tonight we have a match up of the top 6 and have #2 and #5 in action along with the top three under teams in Dallas, Anaheim and Nashville.

Nashville riding a 11 game under streak.

Took it on the chin yesterday. Top 6 match up a loser after a quick early goal. #5 Pittsburgh goes down as well. Dallas reverted back to the under trend. Nashville ended their 11 game under streak as well.

Have to give pause with New Jersey now. A totally different team with all the AHL players and top scorers out for the team. Have to believe they are going to drop in ranking unless the other side does the scoring in their games now.

Tonight's headlines by a hot Philly club 9-1 to the over playing Washington and you have three clubs in the cold 5 category going tonight with two facing one another with Calgary and Vegas.

Let's see what comes out of this.

Good Luck tonight.

We have a battle of the top 5 going tonight along with #1 Chicago, #2 Tampa and #3 San Jose in separate match-ups. The low score leader #31 Dallas is in action against Colorado which is 1-9 their last ten.

Only change in the Hot/Cold 5 is Vancouver dropping out of the Hot 5.

The match-up of cold 5 last night resulted in a win and for record keeping stands at 1-0.

No match-ups tonight.

Would love some feedback on what I am posting here, is it worth it or a waste of my time?

Keep Crushing!

Battle of Top 5 goes down in defeat even after a quick goal by the Penguins on a power play. After 38 such match ups this year the record stands at 32-6 for a 84.21% winning percentage.

#1 Chicago Over, #2 Tampa under #3 San Jose Over and #31 Dallas Under

At this point there isn't any regression in the FollowTheMoney5, three teams Chicago, San Jose and Pittsburgh are 8-2 their last 10 and you still have Dallas 6-4 to the under.

Tampa Bay is 6-4 and Columbus 5-5

Add it all up and you get to the top side 35-15 for 70% add in Dallas and you sit at 41-19 for 68.33%

If the juice is right then it's a play, if not, then you can simply pass. You have to be smart with how you are wagering here. You can't just blindly bet it because they are top 5 or Dallas.

Utilize parlays to minimize your risk and maximize your profits.

The bookmakers aren't stupid, they were behind the curve early and have caught up now. So now we must adjust our strategy to give us an advantage if there is one to be found.

Small card tonight, nothing of excitement, the markets will likely be small tonight.

KEEP CRUSHING!

We have a rematch from a few days ago of two top five teams with Pittsburgh and Columbus. Last time the Penguins scored quickly on a power play but another goal wasn't scored until the second period in a 3-0 Penguins victory.

We have direct opposite matches today with Tampa #2 vs #27 Detroit and #1 Chicago vs #31 Dallas. Odds are heavy to the over in both games.

The hottest over team also goes today with Philadelphia 9-1 and The coldest over team in Nashville 1-9.

Lots to choose from today.

Bet with your head not over it.

Another loss in the battle of the top 5 with CLB/PIT dropping the overall record to 32-7. Two losses in that match up over the last few days.

We have #5 Pittsburgh also #4 on the Hot 5 right back at today with the #4 Cold team in Boston 3-7 last ten including 5 straight unders. Not sure if Pittsburgh can do the heavy lifting alone here.

Plays went 7-3 yesterday bringing the overall mark to 57-46.

Nice opportunity today with a pair of cold clubs going at it with Vegas/Calgary. Overall record is 1-0 since I put together the Hot/Cold 5.

Still a work in progress, so something to monitor with the regular season coming to a swift close.

Plays went 2-1 yesterday to improve to 59-47 since tracking took place.

Battle of cold 5 went over yesterday bringing the ledger to 1-1.

Tonight we have the top 4 over first period teams in action. Along with the top 3 Hot 5 clubs in action. Also add in Tampa and the Islanders to the hot sides in action.

We have the top cold side in action with Colorado as well.

A busy action packed night of NHL awaits.

Good Luck

Today we have the reverse of the Top 5 as the 2 of the bottom three clubs get together in #29 Nashville vs #30 Anaheim. Even though both clubs have had streaks of +2 and +4 they remain in the dungeon.

We also have a battle of Hot 5 clubs with San Jose 7-3 vs Winnipeg 7-3 and the line for the first period early on sits at -230.

A total of 3 top 5 first period clubs play tonight, the afore mentioned San Jose #3, Columbus #4 and Pittsburgh #5. Columbus sits on 4 in a row to the under so be cautious as this team hasn't put it all together since the trade deadline.

Boston/Columbus are 6-0 to the over the last 6 they have met. So the over may still be in play.

Another tidit is Montreal is 10-2 SU ve Detroit the last 12.

Good Luck on your action today.

No lines available at this time. Rather than sit on this, I posted it.

#2 Tampa Bay in play today along with #3 San Jose. Both against deep lower rated clubs as far as going over in the first period.

We have the bottom 6 all in action today leading the way is Dallas.

Results have fluctuated a lot lately after the trading deadline and has caused a bit of a rift in the results but you have to pick your spots now instead of blindly going in.

It was mentioned to drop Columbus and New Jersey and that same night they both had goal explosions.

The numbers remain the numbers and with all things gambling there will be a regression or funk at some point. It's not all roses all the time.

Once again sportsbook doesn't have lines posted at it's nearly 1030AM Eastern. Guess they need to study the charts a little more.

Nice 7-2 day for the trends yesterday.

For today we have the #4 top team in Columbus who is 4-6 their last 10 playing a team that ranks in the bottom third of first period overs.

We do have the lowest rank Dallas in action along with Anaheim which is #28 but that's even with 6 straight goes going over 1.5 in the first period.

Should be an interesting evening of dynamics.

Good Luck
