Derek Brunson (+140) vs.na (-155) vs.na by decision
It's hard to know what you are going to get from Rountree and that makes it hard for me to pick him.na because I think he is the more well-rounded fighter, and I liked what I saw from him in his last fight.
Paddy Pimblett (-135) vs. Luigi Vendramini (+115): Vendramini by TKO
Pimblett is a hyped prospect from Cage Warriors who is making his UFC debut. His striking isn't anything special, but the ground game is where he shines. I expect Vendramini to be the better and much more powerful striker and he is live for a KO. He has grappling chops of his own and he looks like the better wrestler, so maybe he can keep this on the feet. I think Pimblett will have a lot of success if he can get control on the mat, but I would rather side with the underdog to spoil his debut.
Ji Yeon Kim (-115) vs. Molly McCann (-105): McCann by decision
Kim should be the more technical striker and has a 10-inch reach advantage. She doesn't really use that length, but she is a striker who should look to keep this fight on the feet. I think McCann can land takedowns and that will be all it takes for her to grind out a win. McCann can keep this fight close on the feet with her volume, but I think she wins it with takedowns and top control time.
Jack Shore (-475) vs. Liudvik Sholinian (+380): Shore by submission
I expect Shore to dominate this fight. Sholinian is from the last season of TUF, and he looks like a decent wrestler-grappler. The issue is that he is going against a much better wrestler and grappler. I also like Shore more on the feet, but I expect him to take Sholinian to the ground and wear him out until he can lock up a submission.
Charles Jourdain (-185) vs. Julian Erosa (+165): Jourdain by TKO
Erosa is jumping in on short notice and I think this is a bad matchup for him on the feet. Erosa has been knocked out six times and I think Jourdain is likely to make it seven if this is a striking match. Erosa isn't a bad offensive striker, but he eats too many big shots and I think he has to get this fight to the mat. He is a decent grappler and, if he has success with takedowns, he is live to win. But I am going to side with Jourdain.
Marc-Andre Barriault (-150) vs. Dalcha Lungiambula (+130): Barriault by decision
I think Barriault is the better striker and he has much higher volume as well. Maybe Lungiambula can land a takedown or two, but I don't see that being enough. He has big power and can KO anybody with the right shot, but I am going to take Barriault to get a decision or a KO of his own.
Jonathan Martinez (-170) vs. Marcelo Rojo (+150): Rojo by stoppage
Martinez is the more technical striker, but Rojo is more aggressive and more dangerous. I also think Rojo is more likely to land takedowns and has the better submission game. I think Rojo can finish this fight anywhere and I am going to pick him to do that.
