I wagered on Dimitrov last night vs Tiofoe. The match was very touch and go in the 1st two sets, but then Tiafoe started mopping the floor with Dimitrov. I gave up on the match when he was down 2-1 in sets, and down 4-1 in the 4th set. When I awoke this morning, I saw that the 4-1 score was final in the last set and Dimitrov had retired. My eyes lit up when I saw that and I quickly ran through the rules on players retiring from the match...."in the event a player resigns before an outcome is determined, the wager is considered a draw and the bet is canceled". You gotta love a quitter!!! grin

Thanks 70sman,

And I've certainly had plenty go against me also.

Kind of had the same thing happen to me today with getting lucky. I wanted to take Pegula tonight at +260. I went back to place the wager after looking at a couple things and saw it was down to +210. I thought damn that sucks I should have put it in 10 minutes earlier when I 1st saw it but I placed the wager anyway. I look back later this afternoon and see I have Pegula pending to win the 1st set at +210 odds. I look and she was still +260 to win match. I said oh great wtf. I didn’t want to bet it again so I just left it alone. I look a few minutes ago and she is up 4-1 in the 1st set and wins it 6-2

Well, it’s a winner I guess and I don’t have to sweat out the last set or two. I played Medvedev at + really good odds too. I think he has a shot against Sinner

You were gold on Pegula no matter how you played it. I actually put a small play on Sinner. Medvedev is a finesse and strategy player, but I didn't think he would be a match for Sinner's power.

I like how Fritz has been playing and have been riding him all tournament. I played him at -3.5 when the line first opened. I still see some 4's there and I suspect he will beat Tiafoe.

Good for you on getting in early (even the 4's have extra juice now). Tiafoe has been hot but it's hard to get a read on the Dimitrov match since he was injured. The oddsmakers seem to agree with you.

Did it happen again?! 1014

I see Sinner's final set score was 6-2.
