Tigers starter, Holton, is just a spot starter, who pitched in Tuesday's win. Houston stays resilient and extends series for another day.

Liverpool -2 ; Liverpool just beat AC Milan in the UCL 3-1 on the road and they are now at home against a team that I view as weaker when compared to AC Milan. Liverpool knows how to score. I see this game starting slow but then Liverpool coming through on top by at least two goals.

Write-up:

I have to play on Monaco. It is the second most expensive and second best team in the French league, and it can also match PSG. They are in very good shape. In the first game against Barcelona, they played well, even before Barca got the red card. I really don't see how Dinamo could have been on par with that team for 100 minutes. 1.60 on Monaco is very nice odd. These are two different leagues. Monaco's great result in the first match must now be confirmed in matches like Dinamo. Monaco became a very good candidate for the top 8 with that win against Barca.

I only play Liverpool because they played well against Milan. 1,16 has no value because they are playing a top5 league team that was on top of the Italian league last season. It is very bad odd. But given Liverpool's very good form and what they showed against Milan, it's still worth playing. Bologna also have a few absentees. These teams do not have very long benches. If Liverpool keep the pace they know how, with a full Ainfeld they shouls somehow solve this match in their favor.

For now the elite clubs are winning, very few are surprises. Which suggests that the elite clubs are now even more focused on all the matches, not like before when some were first after only six rounds played. That luxury is gone.
That's why I think Liverpool is worth to play. Equally Monaco with a win against Barca should beat these inferior teams and they could end up in the top 8.

MLB Padres -118. Like Musgrove in this situation. Three straight quality starts coming in to today. Fried has also been very good, but the middle of the Padre order is on fire right now

After the defeat yesterday, I think the wind is out of Baltimore's sails and I think KC wins this one and continues on to face the Yankees.

For the Orioles, Eflin is getting the start and he's had a really good regular season. 3.59 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP. However, this is the post-season and some pitchers are not post-season pitchers, (i.e. David Price, Clayton Kershaw). His sample size is small but he's pitched 15 and 2/3rd innings and has a 5.17 ERA with a 1.66 WHIP. A full run higher than his career ERA. Pertaining to his start today with facing elimination Elfin said, "you treat it like any other game." In the post-season the strike zone is tightened and you don't get the calls you normally get in the regular season. The one start Elfin had in the post-season he gave up 9 hits and 5 runs in 5 innings. Further, for his career against KC, Eflin has a 5.09 ERA in 4 starts.

Lugo will get the start for KC and he's having a phenomenal year. 3.0 ERA, 181Ks, and a 1.09 WHIP, plus a 16-9 record. All of which are top 20 in MLB. He only has 2 innings pitched in the post season mainly because he was on the Mets for most of his career. His 2 innings stats were fine but it was only 2 innings. Also, I like how Lugo has faced the Orioles just once this year. it was just once back in April, but it was one of the worst of his year, so he'll be motivated. Also, I like how Lugo is also coming off a loss in his last start. Since he was in the NL for most of his career, there's not a ton of familiarity between the orioles lineup and him.

In post-season baseball some teams (Astros) just find a way to win and some just lose. Baltimore is the latter. I don't have faith in Eflin as a successful post-season pitcher and being in front of a packed stadium, I think Eflin will fold (or at least lose some of his sharpness he had during the regular season) at the first sign of adversity and one screw up in post season baseball, can easily snowball.

Brown has feasted on the tigers this year making 2 starts against them  throwing 12 innings with 16 strikeouts and only 1 walk.  In Houston he shutout tigers for 5 hits 9 strikeouts in 7 innings. He has allowed 2 runs or less in 8 of his last 9 starts and 5 hits or less in 8 of 9 starts. All hands are on deck here for astros and even game 3 starter kikuchi could come out the pen if need be. Tigers go Holton here to pitch to lefties in 1st inning and then they go to any capable righties they have out the pen to bring this home. They will pitch the matchups looking to leave houston today with the sweep. Very tight game here so under for me
