Sticking with the red hot pitcher today. Last 4 outings for Valdez 27+ innings only 12 Hits and 2 earned runs , hard to go against that. Seattle does have a lot to play for but I see the hot pitcher and better overall offense winning this one

Giants ML (+130)

Going out on a small limb here but I like the Giants to win this one. After being eliminated from the postseason, it looks like they are embracing being the villains, especially to someone in their own division. The Giants are 6-1 in their last 7 which have all been on the road. Arizona isn't necessarily struggling but they haven't been playing like a team trying to make the postseason. Prior to their last series they lost 2 of 3 to the Rockies and 2 of 3 to the Brewers who they faced in their last series. So, them taking 3 of 4 wasn't a surprise as they had revenge.

The reason I like the Giants here is because of the pitching matchup. For the Dbacks, Pfaadt is coming off his best (maybe second-best game of the season). Last start he had 12 Ks, 0 BB, 2 hits and 1 ER in 7 innings pitched. When Pfaadt had his other best game of the season, the following start he gave up 5 ER. Webb, for the Giants, is coming off a below average game where he had 8 Ks, 2 walks, 3 ER in 5 innings. For most pitchers that's a good slash line but Webb's season is better than that as he's in the top 30 across MLB in record, ERA, and Ks. I can see Pfaadt definitely having a letdown and Webb on a semi bounce back but really just doing his thing.
Further, Webb is looking for his 20th quality start on the season out of 32 games. Meanwhile, in 30 starts Pfaadt has only had quality starts in 13. For this game with the total at 6.5 runs, 1 bad inning may cost you the game.
