Nevada sportsbooks won 22.1 million dollars on the Super Bowl with a handle of 151.6 million. The handle was 20% lower than last year.

New Jersey won 25.2 million on a handle of 168.7 million. They saw the handle increase 19%

Did you know in December Nevada lost 2.1 million on football bets, the first net loss on football since November of 2012.

Sportsbooks cleaned up on prop bets and high profile players not scoring TD's helped immensely. Just ask Barkley any time TD prop bettors!

FanDuel reported a record 16.6 million bets, a 19% increase from last year, over nearly 3 million active users, with activity peaking at 70,000 bets per minute.

DraftKings reported over 12 million bets from 2.5 million active users, with the app peaking at 59,000 bets per minute just before kickoff.

Super Bowl LIX was the single biggest betting event in the history of BetMGM. It took the most bets and was one of the best single game results in company history.

When you think about all of this, just imagine the amount of money involved. It's insane!

The largest reported wager on the Super Bowl was made by known big money bettor Marco Piemonte, who won $1 million at Fanatics Sportsbook when he bet on the Eagles +1.5.

New York's gaming commission reported a $47.4 million net win on the Super Bowl for the state's sportsbooks, a figure that includes futures bets on the odds to win NFL championship.

They reported $154.9 million was bet on the Super Bowl, down roughly 4.4% from last year's game. Yet the state won 5 times the amount from the year before.

On the opposite end of the spectrum the state of PA reported a loss of $6.5 million. A record $101.5 million was bet on the Super Bowl with PA sportsbooks, a 20.4% increase over the previous high mark set in 2023.
