After week 8, Bob Sparks was sitting at 22-18 and 4 weeks later sits alone at the head of the table at 37-23.

Former Champion FastEddieSS revved up the charts to sit alone in second.

We are starting to see some separation now and it gets interesting as we are entering a holiday football week.

We had 3 entries that went 5-0 and that brings the season total to 25.
We had 2 entries go 0-5 and the season total rises to 31.

The top 5 consensus picks went 3-2. The top 5 record stands at 30-30 after twelve weeks.

The Overall Consensus Top Pick Detroit sent 31 entries home with a loser. This is the eighth week in a row to drop the overall record to 1-11.

I must admit I am totally baffled by this as the last three weeks the top 5 picks went 11-4 and yet three of those losses were the top pick. This has been a printing machine if you are betting the opposite. You don't even have to handicap it, just blindly bet the other team. I automatically consider my pick a loss when I end up with it being a top pick. I've never seen anything like this anywhere and by far the strangest streak and history. That lone win has an asterisk around it and all I can say is holy cow.

Besides my picks sucking the last 5 weeks, nothing is staying the same.................

Let's just say it's feels like hell froze over.

The Consensus Best Bet with Houston won and raises the record to 2-12. The overall top 5 went 2-3.

Two entries went 5-0 while two went 0-5 raising the totals to 28 and 34 respectively.

I've been doing this now for 25 years and I've never seen anything like this at all period.

We have a 7 way tie for first with 4 weeks to go. It's like no one wants to win. The leaders week to week haven't been the same and now we have seven of them.

I promised an exciting and unpredictable 25th contest and here we are.
