TCU is coming to the game here with a 1-3 record on the year. The Horned Frogs in their last game ended up losing by a score of 33-14 to Oklahoma. The Bears in their last game ended up losing to Texas by a score of 27-16 in what ended up being a lot better game than what people thought it would have been. Now, one thing that the Bears did end up learning in the game is the fact that their offense is good, but they need a defense that can keep the opponent in check.

Charlie Brewer in the losing effort ended up going 30/43 for 256 yards and 2 touchdowns. The rushing offense for the Bears were able to carry the ball 21 times for a total of 64 yards in the game. When it comes to the defense the Baylor team gave up 270 yards and a touchdown in the game, but did get a pick as well. With Baylor the rushing defense gave up 159 yards on 47 carries with 2 touchdowns allowed.

Coming to this game TCU and Baylor have both struggled so far. The Horned Frogs, though, have been able to play better offensively so far on the year overall. The Baylor team has struggled quite a bit offensively

It might not carry the same weight as in previous years, but Saturday’s all-Tigers showdown between SEC rivals LSU and Auburn will still make for great viewing. Defending champion LSU (2-2 SU, 2-2 ATS) continued its strong offensive stretch with a 52-24 drubbing of South Carolina, while host Auburn (3-2 SU, 2-3 ATS) is coming off a dramatic 35-28 triumph over Ole Miss.

LSU has been given a slight edge from the oddsmakers, who have the visitors as 2-point favorites; the line hasn’t moved from its opening. The total is installed at 62.5.

Some big names are no longer on the team – we’re looking at you, Joe Burrow, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Justin Jefferson – but LSU still has one of the most impressive offenses in the nation at 42 points per game. Quarterback Myles Brennan was the catalyst with 11 touchdown passes through three games, but he sat out last week’s win with what is called a serious lower-body injury.

LSU didn’t miss a beat in Brennan’s absence, compiling 541 total yards of offense – including 276 on the ground. Backup QB TJ Finley accounted for three TDs and will be an interesting contrarian daily fantasy play this week vs a solid Auburn defense. Also worth consideration: wide receiver Terrace Marshall, who has 512 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in four games.

Consistency has been elusive for Auburn, which has alternated wins and losses over its first five games. And it took a 58-yard touchdown strike from Bo Nix to Seth Williams with 1:11 remaining to prevent what would have been the team’s third loss in four games. Nix (1,107 passing yards, six TDs, four INTs) isn’t a strong DFS play given his season-long struggles.

As for who daily fantasy players can count on here, Auburn running back Tank Bigsby is a strong play who might see depressed ownership given the abundance of options. With respect to Williams, Bigsby has been Auburn’s offensive MVP through the first five games, rumbling for 432 yards (5.8 YPC) and three touchdowns while adding 11 catches for 84 yards.

Northwestern looked very impressive in the opening game win over Maryland. In the return to Big 10 action the Wildcats ended up putting in a total of 43 points and only allowed the Terrapins offense to get a field goal in the game. What is very impressive is how strong the defense was for Maryland in the game.

Peyton Ramsey ended up going 23/30 for 212 yards and a touchdown in the game. Rushing the ball for the Wildcats was impressive as well with 53 carries for a great 325 yards and 4 touchdowns. Defensively the Wildcats gave up only 143 yards in the and pick off taulia Tagovailoa 3 times. The rushing defense faced only 20 carries and gave up only 64 yards.

Iowa is coming to the game here with an 0-1 record after losing the opening week. The loss came at the hands of the Boilermakers. In the game the Iowa club ended up giving up a total of 24 points in the game, but the offense for Iowa only managed to score a total of 20 points in the game.

The Hawkeyes passing offense ended up seeing Spencer Petras go 22/39 for 265 yards. However, Petras did not get any touchdowns, but was not picked off in the game. The rushing offense for Iowa was able to get 36 carries for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns. Defensively the Hawkeyes allowed 282 yards in the air and 3 touchdowns, but did get 2 pickoffs. The rushing defense for the Iowa team allowed 104 yards on 27 carries.
