I still think this game goes over but if Montreal scores early and has a 3rd period lead this game will cost over. I do like Montreal but the line is a bit high so Ill take the over here and expect 8-9 goals tonight

Although Friday’s opener featured plenty of offense, neither team scored in the first inning, and Saturday’s pitching matchup should favor another NRFI. Cristopher Sanchez owns a 2.11 ERA and strong NRFI numbers, while Bubba Chandler has surrendered just one first-inning run all season. Both offenses have also struggled to produce early runs lately.

I’m backing Cleveland because the starting pitching matchup strongly favors Joey Cantillo over Chris Paddack. Cantillo has been solid all year with a 2.98 ERA and has allowed just 15 earned runs through 45.1 innings, while Paddack enters with a brutal 7.63 ERA and has been getting hit hard nearly every outing. Cleveland’s offense is also a tough matchup for a pitcher struggling with command and hard contact because the Guardians consistently put the ball in play and force long at-bats. Cincinnati snapped its long road losing streak last night, but I still trust the Guardians more at home with the better starter and fresher bullpen situation.
