0-2 last night (also had a loss with the Chargers), but the Texan's loss was a bad beat. They were up 20-3 at the half and by 10 going into the 4th quarter before giving up TD drives of 93 and 96 yds. The latter came with 1:37 left in the game and Vegas had no timeouts. Had Houston converted on 3rd and 1 at their own 44 on the previous drive they would have won and covered. That's a tough one.

My PR's say that the Jags should be favored by 22.7(!) pts and the Offensive/Defensive ratings predict a score of 28.6 – 0!! Don't think it will be that one-sided, but the Panthers have just been a very bad preseason team.
But I sure bought Jacksonville at the wrong time earlier this week with the 3' point spread. They are now a 1-1' pt dog!! Ouch. I did not expect that line-move at all so poor read on my part.
But got some line value by playing the total early as that is down to 37.
