Short card today but this one sticks out a little bit what we have here in the Braves is that they are trying to avoid a sweep another thing is that their pitcher Martin Perez has only given up 1 run in his last 21+ innings at home now most people have been waiting all yr for Nick Martinez to fall flat on his face and maybe it’s be happening and he still is winning because the Ray’s score a lot of runs for him but I think that stops today and the crafty veteran Perez slows down the Ray’s and the Braves get the victory

While this game is a night kickoff here in the US, the actual game is in Melbourne, Australia so I think things like jet lag, traveling, and things of the nature can disrupt player's sleep schedules and routines. Similar to last night, I always think stand alone first games are similar to the Super Bowl where there are some jitters and coaches play conservatively. Especially the first half. I think we see a run heavy 1H and the willingness to just punt the ball instead of aggressiveness and going for it early.

Being travel + it's 1st game of the year I like to be a lower scoring game. Also the LAR have a top 10 defense to keep this number down. 49ers have some ? On defense but i still like the number to stay under
