BeantownJim just stepped into the Bad Man Contest like he walked straight out of Southie with a Dunkin cup in one hand and a chip on his shoulder the size of Fenway’s left field wall. He’s not easing in, he’s kicking the door open and calling out every forum member still sitting on the sidelines like they’re tourists lost on the Green Line. He’s looking around the thread like he’s surrounded by people who talk tough but fold faster than a cheap lawn chair the second it’s time to actually enter. He’s roasting the non‑entrants with that Boston bite, wondering how a bunch of self‑proclaimed sharps can’t even enter while he’s already in and ready to swing. He’s calling out the ones acting like the entry fee is some life changing decision, telling them to stop clutching their wallets like they’re guarding the last dollar in Quincy. He’s dragging the holdouts into the spotlight, pointing at them like they’re standing on the wrong side of a Sox‑Yankees rivalry, asking how they manage to chirp all year but turn into quiet little commuters when the contest opens. BeantownJim didn’t enter to be polite, he entered to make every non‑entrant feel the sting of getting outworked, out‑muscled, and out‑hearted by a guy who came in swinging with full Boston energy, ready to flatten anyone still too timid to step into the contest. ....

Ended up going 6-8 yesterday with some late second half plays winning to help stem the tide.

My power ratings are not working at all, and this is a very strange preseason.

For instance, per my lines, dogs are now 22-5-1 which is absolutely crazy.

Through 2 weeks last year they were 18-12 which was astounding as well, but then they went 5-10-1 in week 3 to finish 23-22-1. We will see what happens in week 3 of this year.

For tonight:

+4’ SEA/TEN

Played last night and now I’m only seeing +3.

So, the action is on the dog which I don’t like. Public dogs are typically not a good bet.

This system supports this play:

Play on Away Team off Double-Digit Loss

Seattle lost at home last week 17-7 vs Dallas. System is 3-1-1 so far this year.

5-Yr Record: 20-9 Last 2-Yrs: 7-1

This system also applies which I have mentioned before:

If a Team Scored < 10 Pts, Play Over in their Next Game

4-1 so far in week 2.

5-Yr Record: 21-14 Last 2-Yrs: 10-6

I have not played the total yet.

Good luck!!

That 22-5-1 record for dogs is wild, even for preseason. The move from Seattle +4 to +3 would make me a little cautious too, but getting the better number last night gives you some protection. Week 3 should be interesting since teams may approach rotations differently. Good luck with Seattle!

Thanks, man!

Getting Seattle early at +4 was key obviously, otherwise that was a push.

On to week 3!
