Freak's Weekly recap of action!

Standings updated and posted for week 1.

Week 2 saw more chaos and even worse results from week 1.

We are down to 7 entries that are undefeated, 28 with one loss and 15 yes 15 that can't lose another game or they will be eliminated.

Players for the week went 18-28 for 39.13% and the overall record stands at 42-54 for 43.75%

At the rate things are going this will be an extremely quick contest. When you have 30% of your field facing elimination and add in the 1 loss entrant it makes up for 86% of the field.

Week 3 saw the players have the worst record of the contest to date and it's now three straight losing weeks to start the contest with each one progressively worse than the last.

We are down to one entrant with zero losses, seventeen with one, twenty three with two.

We say goodbye and better luck next year to ten entrants that went three and out in three weeks.

Forty remain and there will be more eliminated next week, the only question is how many.

Week 4 saw 6 more eliminated and bringing the live entrants to 34.

Here's where the rubber meets the road. Out of those 34 remaining 25 have two losses. 8 have one loss and Jwill remains perfect.

Things would be drastically different had the Rams not came back to win and cover against the Eagles.

The NFL has proven to be quite difficult so far this year as is evidenced by the results in this contest and Bad Man.

Week 5 saw carnage take place as 11 entries were eliminated.

Jwill remains perfect after five weeks and we have four entries sitting with one loss and eighteen face elimination in week 6 with two losses.

There was a mix of teams that eliminated the entries but the night cap of Atlanta losing sent the final three of the day packing.

In a word CARNAGE............

Sixteen people eliminated in week 6 and we are already down to just 7 entries.

Jwill remains perfect, three with one loss and three with 2 losses.

By far in all the years I've held this contest has it gone like this. The NFL has been pure mayhem and has been totally unpredictable.

I will say 5 of the 7 remaining got a gift with the Carolina line. Take that game off the board and who knows what happens.

On to week 7.

This contest has produced another first now that week 7 is in the books.

Jwill through seven weeks hasn't lost a game and the remaining six contestants all sit with two losses each.

Anything is still possible but it's Jwill's to lose at this point.
