Nebraska -3.5, Nebraska has struggled to score in the past 3 games against good Washington Indiana and Oregon defences but Illinois’ D is quite a step down from those three so I can see them getting back on track in this one

76ers cavs U 231
Continuing to ride that 76ers under train. Really like this number better if Allen plays since he’s strong on the defense. Also if Watson is in the kid can play D but can’t shoot. These cup games are like playoff games so that increases defense intensity. 76ers continue to hold teams under 110 ppg

Illinois (+4) Illinois is 15-4 at home over the last three seasons. They are on a 3 game win streak. Neb struggles lately to close out games. They have lost the last 3 against much better teams than the two they beat in Big 10 play. What started out as a promising year for Neb has once again become a disappointment. Illinois rushing attack should control the ball.

Ill +4.5 If you watch the spread this week, it started out as Neb as a -6 pt fav and it drop down to 4.5. Illinois has won 3 straight games and Neb has lost 3 straight games. They are at home on a friday night. Yes Neb has better numbers on the defense stats and somewhat on offense too and Neb has a all time series record with a 14-7-1 But I see Illinios playing better than Neb and i am riding the hot winning team.

Oklahoma City -4.5 -105...The Grizzlies started the season strong but didn't play many tough teams ...They lost their last 2 and I think the Thunder with their better defense will win tonight and cover this short number

Illinois vs Nebraska
Nebraska coming off 3 straight losses but are ranked 15th in pts scored against them average giving up 15.6. Illinois is not very good on defense. Will not be able to stop Nebraska

I like the way Kevin Jennings has been playing this year. He's pretty accurate with a 74% completion rate and can move the offense averaging 35.3 points per game. Both teams are pretty even statistically but SMU is a better at home going 5-0 so far on the season. Although Clemson didn't score much on VT last week, their QB Reynolds was 20/26 against them and moved the ball, until the sacks he took hurt them. I think Jennings will exploit this VT defense.

I like James Franklin to have the Hokies ready tonight. A tough opponent but SMU has shown weakness lately and they're not the team we thought they were at the beginning of the year. I like Virginia Tech here by at least a touchdown.

The obvious play is fade a struggling and mentally weak Nebraska squad. And there's no real reason to overthink this and do just that. One team is on a three game skid, fading each in the final part of the 4th quarter. I'm game adjustments evade this staff, primarily on offense with an illegitimate run game and a receiving corp struggling to get open. Illinois on a three game win streak and returned their season starting QB earlier from injury and their change at DC has proven a solid move with improvement trending on that side of the ball.
Take Illinois +4 and also on the ML

Huskers have lead every game going into the 4th quarter. Last three games they gave up that lead. Today offensive coordinator Hologrsome is moving upstairs to call plays. Better talent at Nebraska and a pissed off team.
