At this point, it's all just hype as it is every week 1, ask the Rams about it. I think the Lions will do just enough here.

Let's cut to the chase here, the Lions got off to a fast start and were up 21-0 with 5 minutes left in the third quarter. They should've been up more. It's like a flip switched and the Saints became an offensive juggernaut completed plays on 4th down multiple times and going up and down the field like a well oiled machine. Due to both teams getting the ball in the OT session the Saints were able to come down the field again and score and rather than take the chance of giving the Lions the ball again and potentially losing on a field goal, they went for two and it barely failed. I guess I was spot on that the Lions would do just enough and they did, begrudgingly.

Houston +7.5, I took Houston +1.5 in Bad Man why wouldn't I like them at +7.5 at home. This is likely going to be a struggle for both sides on offense. Shroud historically has started slow. It may be the same here and the defense will keep them in the game. New coach new beginnings in Buffalo. Without a lot of starter action in pre season, how prepared really are the Bills with a new set up all around. Josh will use his legs a lot and I don't think it's going to be enough. Tough place to play in the opener and I don't care who you are.

I was dead wrong on the offense and defense here. It was a role reversal where the defenses were out of sync and the offenses were better prepared than expected. It wasn't easy for the Bills to win and oddly enough it was their defense that kept them from losing SU on the final drive of the game for Houston.

Jacksonville -2.5, Mind you I took Cleveland in Bad Man but at +8.5. This game may be closer than people think. I can see a Jacksonville win by 3 late. I could be super wrong on Cleveland with the 8.5 but teams in week 1 getting 6.5 or more are 53-30 ATS. It's a play on that stat but looking for a Jacksonville 3-7 point win in the opener.

I expected a better showing from Cleveland but they were nowhere to be found. One thing I said, well two things I said came true. I could be super wrong on Cleveland with 8.5 and teams that received 6.5 or more went 2-1 with this crappy Browns team the sole loser.

Listen week 1 is a crap shoot, you don't know much. People think they do, they don't. If they tell you they do, their full of shit. I don't know anything extra about week 1 than anyone else.

This couldn't have been words more true. I didn't know jack shit in week one as my Bad Man selections show. To add to my misery.......... if anyone finds the LAC team, tell them all to f off for me. The dream of winning 25 million came to a crashing halt. I might be the only person to play in Circa Survivor and lose SU to the Raiders and Cardinals in consecutive contests. Two of the absolute worst franchises around. To make it worse, I live in a suburb of Phoenix and a life long hate to admit it Raider fan. F the Cardinals, I hope they lose the next 16 in a row.

In any event the only thing that went right for me on Sunday was to deliver another winner to the two or three people that actually read my thread. It's discouraging to say the least. Yep and it's only week 1.
