For the love of all that is holy, please stop this nonsense.

It's a fn like button, people asked for it back, I worked to get it fixed and back. It's a feature of nearly every forum out there.

It has nothing to do with self esteem or anything of the sort. It's a feature to say hey, thanks for posting that handicapper or hey I like that play or reasoning or just a way to say hi thanks for being here.

Enough is Enough. I have enough on my plate and this is not one of them I need to deal with........................

Well that’s you. Others don’t all feel like that. I have been moderating gambling forums for 25 years and I know for a fact that people appreciate it and enjoy having it. It keeps people engaged and it keeps them posting. Some people do not want to comment in peoples threads every day but if they can do a drive by and drop a like, it lets that person know they are not here talking to themself every day and people do appreciate them posting plays. If someone buys a service and posts it every day, many of them wonder if people care or if they should keep posting. When they see 20 likes, they know people are watching and looking forward to the plays every day

These forums are not what they once were and many people ask often if they should bother posting things. They wouldn’t ask those questions if they got the likes to let them know. We also have very few who post plays daily. Many post day after day after day with no other responses in their thread. They all slowly disappear and I have asked many why. They all say because they got sick of talking to themself and it didn’t seem like anyone really cared, so they said why am I wasting my time doing it.

This is a forum. Forums need posters and posters are encouraged to come back and post another day if they see likes and know people appreciate them stopping by to do it

You may not get it or care but there is a reason why almost every forum has it. There are benefits and most people who post personal or service plays like it. We had it here but it was not working right so freak ditched it

I am very happy to see it back and I will appreciate/thank many by using it when I see a post I like!

I am confused. What does self-esteem have to do with this? I am talking about plays in paid professionals. They aren’t my picks. I don’t care if anyone likes the pick I just want to know if people like me posting them. Otherwise, I won’t waste my time.

Bingo. Well said, bm10. I agree. Sure i 'like' when ppl post plays, but im not going to lessen its worth by liking every post. Often times, I Like a post because it is a play from a particular capper that i repect, and doesnt get posted as frequently (say a Spreitzer 7☆ or Lee Sterling 40 Unit Play - hint hint) 😁 What i do NOT like is ppl that hate on the Like button. He is our friend. Really just a way of saying thanks, in my opinion.

Side note to Wayne - There's a push to have people give a reason for their picks in Bet The House. Help spur it along :) and thanks for all of your interactions!

Anyway, there will be those that use it and those that don't. Either way it's back for anyone to use or not !

Accuracyplease I totally get where you're coming from, I'm glad your a member that takes part in conversation. Keep it coming. We need more people that will engage rather than be hiding like they are in a witness protection program!

And I disagree with freak. Nothing worse than a Debbie downer when someone tries to generate some positivity in here! 🤣

Being nice isn’t a bad thing. And there is nothing wrong with appreciating someone for something they posted if you “Like” it
