This is Freak's recap of Bad Man weekly results and musings of the past weeks action!

Week 3 is in the books and the carnage continued.

Lostteeth went 5-0 and won $166

0-5 total for the year: 8

The overall top selection in Seattle went down in flames and the Best Bet is 2-1 for the season. The overall consensus for the week went 2-3 and sits at 5-10 for the year.

At this time, I can say in the now 26 years of running the Bad Man contest, this by far has been the most difficult for the players. In an unbelievable stat after three weeks only 13 contestants are above 50%.

It's been an absolute beat down and at some point we should see a turnaround. Only question is when.

Week 4 results are in and it was the best week of the season to date for the players. Albeit a fourth straight losing week but results for the week came in at a 47% win rate.

Three people went 5-0 raising the total on the season to 6.
Four people went 0-5 bringing the total to 12 for the season.

The overall top selection in Buffalo lost and the Best Bet is 2-2 on the season losing the last two.

Overall consensus went 3-2 and sits at 8-12

At this point of the contest, there are only 10 entries over 50%, the remaining are 10-10 and below. The NFL has proven to be very unpredictable so far this year and has been a major handicapping challenge.

70 points remain and anything is possible even for those down in the lower parts of the standings. Spark a flame and get a fire going!

Week 5 is in the book and by far and away this was the best week of the season for the contestants. 164-131 overall for a 55.59% win rate. The first win rate over 50% for the season.

The best bet in Pittsburgh a winner bringing the best bet consensus bet to 3-2 for the season. The overall record after five weeks is 11-14 for 44%.

Four entries went 5-0 bringing the season total to 10 for the season.
One entrant went 0-5 raising the total to 13 for the season.

65 points remain with 13 weeks to go, anything is possible at this point. If you're at the bottom, stringing a few winning weeks together will get you back into it.
