These come courtesy of the track handicapper Doug McCoy, he does fairly well with his selections. I would recommend using his selections in exacta, tri's, and when available in a pick 3 combination. He likes to use horses at a price as well, so when he hits, you will get paid nicely.

Race 1

HONEY FRITTERS makes her first start since September, also makes her first start for the
Cibelli barn and while she moves up a bit on the claiming ladder she came to life last fall
with a win and 2 seconds from her last four outings and the stable has shown they can get
one ready for good efforts off layoffs in the past. MELISSA ROCKS was overmatched with
starter handicap runners in her first local start, has good early speed in a field with several
late closing types and several runners from this stable have improved in their second and
third starts locally. MEDICINE DANCE is one of those late running types who drops
another notch on the claiming ladder, can’t ignore.

Race 2

SPICY TOUR makes his first start for a sharp claiming stable, has a win over the track a
this meeting, should be stalking the leaders under Centeno and rarely runs a poor race.
KAFLEEN led throughout her last, looks like the best speed rival in a field that doesn’t have
much early speed in it and gets a major break in the weights, the one to catch. TAPS
RETURN also makes her first start for a stable that is winning at better than 30 per cent,
has see action against tougher in the past and a good effort here wouldn’t be a surprise.
5-1-2 Longshot 4

Race 3

MONTCALM STREET comes up from Miami where he’s been showing good early speed,
drops to a more comfortable claiming level today, gets Centeno and the stable is a perfect 3
for 3 here this meeting. ANDIAMO AMICO comes off a 2nd and a 3rd in his first two outings
locally, gets a bit more distance for his late rally and is a solid threat. SUPER PARTNER
was 3rd in the same race with Andiamo Amico, ran 3rd in a race on January 4th that has since
produced two winners and also should like the added distance of today’s tilt.
3-6-1 Longshot 2

Race 4

ALIE’S DOLLY hasn’t done much wrong at this meeting with a win, 2nd and two 4ths,
handled several of these rivals when she rallied from next to last to take her most recent and
gets more distance today, tough to go against. RUSSIAN SWEETIEPIE makes her second
start since November and 2nd race for a good claiming barn, has seen much tougher in the
past and could be part of this mix at good odds. MURPHY STYLE lost all chance when she
lunged at the start of her local debut, is eligible to improve off that effort and had two decent
efforts with good ones on the grass at the Meadowlands last fall.
1-12-4 Longshot 3

Race 5

TIME’S ABOUNDING made a decent middle move to the stretch when 3rd in his first race
since April, should be fitter and tougher for this one, has the running style that fits well at
middle distances and doesn’t catch the toughest allowance field in the world today.
STORMIN EDDIE caught a runaway winner when 2nd last time out, has been in the thick of
things to mid stretch of each of his 3 local outings and while he has a propensity to finish 2nd,
he still deserves a long look. JARED’STEMPER came off a 4 month break to take his first
race of the meeting and while he moves up in class, he also deserves consideration if he can
handle the added distance of this one.

Race 6

ROYAL REGAN fell just less than a length short after leading in her first outing this
meeting, figures to be fitter and tougher for this second race since November, came closed on
several occasions at Laurel and Colonial last summer and fall and looks like she’s sitting on
a top effort with Garcia returning. SPECIAL FAN hasn’t race since July but looks to be the
best speed rival in a field that doesn’t have many speed rivals in it and this stable is good at
bringing runners off layoffs ready to run. RAIN CHECK makes her critical 3rd start off a
layoff, was beaten less than 2 lengths last out and if able to draw in from the also eligible list,
must be considered.
1-2-13-8 Longshot 9

Race 7

OH OLEG turned in a very game effort against a repeat winner when 2nd last time out in his
first start for a sharp claiming stable, should be close up from the outset under Centeno and
while this is a very tough group, is the choice to take his 8th career race today. SANDY’S
SECRET win in his first start for the powerful Ziadie stable, has the speed to be in front
early if he choices and will probably be the betting favorite. READY RULER led to late in
the race with Sandy’s Secret, improving greatly over his previous main track effort and if
able to repeat that effort, is a solid speed threat.

Race 8

INSIDE LANE makes his first start for a new stable today, moves up a bit in claiming price
but has a classy background and 2 of his 4 lifetime wins have come over the local strip,
choice to run em down late under Martinez Jr. GOLDINRUNNER didn’t show up last time
but has bounced back from poor efforts in the past, drops a notch in class for this one and
his other two outings this meeting have been solid, can’t take lightly. SMART OCTOBER
tries more distance today and hasn’t run a poor race locally in 3 outings this meeting
3-7-5 Longshot 6

Race 9

GO DIRECTLYTO JAIL makes his first start since October but also makes his first
appearance for a very sharp claiming stable, has met tougher than this down south including
stakes runners and while he hasn’t won in a while he looks well placed to change that today.
UTMOST RESPECT is as honest as they come, has finished 1st in two of his 3 starts this
season although disqualified from one of those races and will be closing late under Ferrer,
solid threat. LIGHTNING POWER was 3rd behind a strong winning effort by Stay Close
last time out and makes his critical 3rd start off a layoff today.
6-4-3 Longshot 1

Race 10

JUST A PLEASURE is a first time starter from a stable that is good at developing young
runners, morning drills are decent for this class level and his mother has produced several
winners, choice of a wide open nightcap. MY PAL SUE led into the stretch of her last,
makes her critical 3rd career start today and could be the horse to catch. CARRTUNE
EXPRESS turns back in distance and drops in class, a combination that often produces
winning efforts, can’t ignore.

1st race went 6-1-3 Favorite over 6-1 over 2nd choice

2nd race went 2/5 2nd choice at 5/2 over the favorite and the 1A to round the trifecta ticket.

First part of the pick 3 in the books, and not a bad price since it ended up being a 6 horse field.

There is a ton of tickets open to the pick 3 I would imagine.

If you bet his top 3 choices you hit the trifecta piad $72.60 and the exacta paid $16.80

3rd race the 3 won for fun.

Only horse I am afraid of is the 5........ this is going to be interesting.

The horse I feared won finish was 5-6-4-1

4 and 12 got stuck behind a wall of horses at the top of the stretch and that cost them any chance, the 1 madea nice run late, but it was too late.
