KAPALUA BAY is running in the 7th race and is razor sharp but trying the hill for the 1st time and the running style are negatives. 9/5 on the morning line is not much but favorites are excellent in this type of race.
SHAKALAKA could be a money horse in the 5th race after showing speed in the debut race. The barn does well with second starters and with blinkers on it looks good at 5/1.
I have done better than average after 5 races at Oak Tree with 0 wins and 3 places for +10.20. For the first 3 or 4 races, I was wagering 1 unit to win and 2 units to place but now 1 unit to win and place. 1 unit equals $2.00 dollars.
After just 1 higher odds money race at Oak Tree, I am up +6.60 with the same unit strategy as above.
It has been all down hill at Bay Meadows with nothing coming in or at very low odds. After 5 races, I show 1 win and 2 places for -12.60.
After 1 money race in San Mateo, I am down -4.00.
