Would love to go with FSU -10 but more comfortable with Uconn +2 as my POD.

I came to the POD today looking for reason on why to back Oklahoma + 10...<P>I found none except being due to hit a moneyline..... I looked around for +12 and although Don Best did his best 10 and 10 1/2 were as best as I could find.<P>So me being the capper I am I figured let me tell you why I am taking who I am taking, after all this is the POD thread isn't it ???<P>Betting on these two teams every game this year was profitable but not by much sporting a 12-10-1 record ATS. Oklahoma was 7-5 while FSU was 5-5.<P>Both teams totally destroyed their ops this year, Oklahoma by the tune on average of 39-16 while FSU did better at a 42-10 clip.<P>Oklahoma averaged 135 yds of rushing and 295 passing for a total of 430 per game<P>The defense gave up 108 via the ground and 171 thru the bomb attack totalling 279 yards.<P>Oklahoma was + 6 on turnovers for the season.<P>Florida St averaged 165 via the pony express and a whopping 384 via the air, bombs away...<P>On defense they gave up 74 yards rushing and 203 via the pass. Which to me isn't surprising. They were blowing out so many teams they couldn't run and had no choice but to pass.<P>FSU was + 12 on the turnover margin...<P>Oklahoma had the 29th hardest schedule this year, Florida St # 12.<P>The game is in Miami, a big plus for the Seminoles.... A very big one.<P>Oklahoma looks to restore a proud tradition from the 80's, Florida St aims to continue it's domination.<P>The intangible here is Bob Stoops a disciple if you may of Spurrier, who Florida St pounded almost every year if memory serves correct. Florida got pounded last night by Miami as predicted in the POD writeup.<P>Now you have given Bobby Bowden 5 weeks or so to prepare for this game. The line has dropped from 13 down to 10 in the last week.<P>Oklahoma struggled down the stretch getting lucky to beat KSt and struggled mightily versus Oklahoma St. <P>I think personally this game has too much emotion for the Oklahoma side, they ahven't been here, Florida St almost every year without fail. <P>Is 10 a big number, sure it is for a normal team, Florida St is not normal. After watching Miami win by 17 over a decent, not great but decent Florida team, and knowing Mia beat Fla St, you better damn sure believe, that FLa St wants to kick Oklahomas ass up and down that field.<P>Bottom line is they will.....<P>Fla St -10 <P>Now if any Oklahoma backers want to come and post why Oklahoma will win, by all means come do so.<P>I eagerly await your stat filled POD prediction, not being cocky here, just like to see some good writeups and good cappin' as always.<P>FREAK<P>
