Yankees OVER 5 (Team Total) -130 (Olympic)

Lackey gave up 5 runs in 5.1 innings to the 2nd worse offense team in baseball last time out, the Cleveland Indians. Last time he faced the Yankees he gave up 6 runs in 3 innings, but 5 runs gives me a push today? OK!

Seavike- Yeah, it's tough to make a buck picking winners, but it's especially tough when you have to fight dodgyman to get credit when you win. Last thursday I had a winner on the Angels giving me +7.77 units. (check my final post for 5/8) The next day I look and I have +6.77 units. I lost 1.20 that day picking the over on the Red Sox game. I should be at +6.57 but our beancounter has me at +5.57. This guy needs some help with his addition/subtraction.
I won't be posting my POD here any longer.
If anyone has been following me, I am 20-10 in baseball for +8.13 units.
Good luck guys-

Cisco, believe me, it's NOT as simple as it seems. I used to do one of these POD things over at another forum. Believe me, if you have more than 7 or 8 people posting you WILL make a mistake most of the time!

Cisco, you have always seemed like a good guy with solid picks. Cut Dodgy a little slack, I'm sure its difficult to keep track of all the results on a daily basis. If there is a problem with your results, I'm sure he'll make the appropriate changes.

I would hate to see you stop posting here just because of a simple mistake.

Keep up the good work Dodgy!

No POD for me today!

Enjoy the day everyone!

Hey Cisco, sorry bout that. If there's a mistake and you post it, I always try and fix it. I'm currently in the middle of finishing a masters thesis, and doing interviews for companies, and it's tough to get everything right.

I hope you don't stop posting, lots of people look forward to your picks, and I always (I hope I do) try and fix 'em if they're wrong. But there's lots of tedius work, and all I have to do is write l instead of w, when checking picks and the capper looses 2 units. At 8-12 posts a day, mistakes are always made. I mean for god sakes, since the year has started there's been 1426 POD's made, that's not exactly something easy to get right. It's not like anyone's making money on the POD, it's just a stat tracker. I doubt anybody's stats are 100% accurate, but I also think that at the end of the year, the POD is pretty indicative of who's who on the board.

I can't promise not to make mistakes, but please don't let that stop ya from posting.

DODGYMAN

You do a great job.

A little mistake is not a big deal.
Better that you get your MASTERS THESIS correct.

San Antonio Spurs -3.5

Basically I'm not buying into this #. Our high and mighty tree time defending champs are getting a VERY GENEROUS 3.5 from the home squad.
Looks as if a search for LA backers has been issued. I'll lay the chalk and take the much better TEAM. I'm not buying into the "spurs are feeling the pressure" hype as I would think the bullseye is still on the lakers back. IF there is one team that can UPSET the shakers the spurs are it! Duncan goes off

Spurs -3.5
