Today, your handicapping southerner has three locks...
1) St. Louis -205 This is a three star play out of five. Woody Williams is on fire and is one of the strongest pitchers in the league. St. Louis needs a win and today they are going to get it.
2) Atlanta -142 The Mets are last in the division and for good reason--they have been losing a lot of games. Today Mike Hampton and the Braves take it to them and improve their standing in the AL NL East.
3) Chicago + 1 1/2 The Cubs need this win over the Astros to take the lead in the NL Central. Zambrano is a high power ranking pitcher and has the skills to pay the bills... Take Chicago and the points!
Finally, consider a parlay with the following picks if you are wanting to beef up your bank roll for the month of May:
Chicago Cubs +108 +1 1/2 Atl -142 St. Louis -205 Oakland -161 NYY -250 AZ -122
(Mix and match these as you please...)
Good luck,
Main Street USA

Mainstreet, this is good stuff, but please, move it to the baseball forum. This is the POD forum, one POD (it can be a parlay, I don't really care) but one play of the day.

WNBA Total
Detroit/Charlotte Under 141'
Bill Laimbeer (Detroit's Coach) knows heads will roll if his team doesn't bang.... the boards and the opponents bodies. Detroit's already lost one pro coach this weekend; so watch his ladies turn this into a low-scoring bruising affair.
58-56 or so, an 'Under' <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

WHO WAS I KIDDING, I Couldn't STAY AWAY UNTIL FOOTBALL SEASON. SO HERE I GO AGAIN>>>
STANDINGS: Pirates - 5th place, 6 GB, NL Central. Cardinals - 2nd place, 2 GB, NL Central.
PIRATES PROBABLE STARTER: Kip Wells (1-2, 3.30 ERA). Wells missed his scheduled start on Sunday because of a blister on his right middle finger. The last time he took the mound, May 16 at Arizona, the right-hander gave up three earned runs and five hits over six innings, but didn't figure in the decision in the Pirates' 8-5, 12-inning victory. Wells is 1-3 lifetime against St. Louis with a 5.47 ERA in four starts.
CARDINALS PROBABLE STARTER: Williams (7-0, 2.19 ERA). In eight career starts against Pittsburgh, Williams is 4-1 with a 3.79 ERA.
OFFENSIVE LEADERS: Pirates - Lofton, .314 avg., 37 runs and 10 SBs; Reggie Sanders, 8 HRs; Randall Simon, 32 RBIs. Cardinals - Albert Pujols, .348 avg., 14 HRs and 45 runs; Scott Rolen, 45 RBIs; Edgar Renteria, 6 SBs.
SEASON SERIES: Tied, 2-2.
Take the Cards -220
