Two marque pitchers dueling it out and I think Leiter outlasts Wood. I doubt Leiter gets roughed up as he did in his last outing. As we often see, good pitchers tend to bounce back nicely after a poor performance. Al was lit up in his last start!
Leiter beat the Cubs on April 2nd by a margin of 4-1 at Shea Stadium. He only gave up 1 run and threw a 4 hitter over 6 1/3 innings. He is 6-3 with a 2.19 ERA in 12 career starts against the Cubs.
I'm looking for Al to stop the bleeding for NY who lost 11 of last 12.
Afternoon dog is also another attraction for this play.

MLB Action Cincy @ Pitt...POD is on the OVER 9 (-111). Etherton and Damico must start. Both pitchers have stunk it up lately with high ERAs and high WHIPs. Pitt has been hitting well against righties as of late. Enjoy the night everyone!
