Three months ago at Giants Stadium, the seasons of the Cowboys and New York Giants changed. No one knew it then, of course, but with two games remaining in the 2003 season, it is clear.
What if Matt Bryant's kickoff doesn't go out of bounds at the 2 with 11 seconds to play? What if returner Zuriel Smith, in the first game of his career, picks up the bounding kickoff instead? Or if Quincy Carter doesn't hit Antonio Bryant with a 26-yard completion to set up the game-tying field goal? Or if Billy Cundiff doesn't kick a career-long 52-yarder to tie the score and a 25-yarder to win it, 35-32, in overtime?
Ifs, ifs, ifs.

Washington Crapitals ML -135
The Capitals have beaten the Islanders twice already this season, and are 24-1-3-1 in the teams' last 29 meetings against.
Also, Olaf Kolzig is 23-5-2 with a 2.11 GAA in his career against New York.
But, I'm too chicken-bleep to give the half goal with the Crapitals, so I'll go moneyline.
