GB feels like a team of destiny, and can run, and pass the football. Seattle is bad on the road, and Lambeau field is as bad as it gets. Seattle has been dropping passes all season long and with the preasure of post season, I see them doing it more than usual. Hasllebeck vs. Favre is also a mismatch experiece wise. GB by 14+

I am equally aware of the Seahawks poor 2-6 road record this season. The earlier meeting these two had on this very field when Green Bay smacked this visitor by a humbling 35-13 score. Having said all of that, this is still far too many points to be spotting. You just have to go back to that aforementioned game to see that the Packers were only a one-point favourite in that one. The oddsmakers have factored in public perception and recent play in creating the posted number here but I am not buying it. Not that much has changed from then to now, at least not enough to boost this line by 6½ points. My concern here lie with the powder puff schedule that the Packers have lavished in recently. In seven weeks, Green Bay faced one winning team and that was an uninterested Denver squad last week that rested most of its stars. The Monday nighter against the Raiders the week prior was an equally uninterested group and after those two easy wins, public perception on these Packers is way off. This is worst team in the playoffs except for maybe the Cowboys. So, the Packers previous four weeks consisted of a loss to the Lions before defeating the Bears, Chargers and Raiders, four teams that combined for a 20-44 record this season. It's not that easy to change gears and while Green Bay has a rich history, they have dropped consecutive playoff games and four of its past five in the post-season. With Mike Holmgren having coached here and leading the Packers to a championship, the intimidation of Lambeau Field should be removed. He should know what it takes to defeat his old employers and at worst, stay within these allotted points.
