The Royals travel to Chicago today to begin a series with the White Sox. Loaiza a right hander opened the season with a win in his first start going 6 innings with an era of 4.50. While that is not impressive his counterpart, May opened the season with a loss and an ERA of 7.20 in 5 IP. So there is no real advantage hear until you look at how well loaiza pitched last year against the Royal. He went 3-1 in 32 innings with a 2.78 ERA!. He is 6-4 lifetime vs. the Royals. Chicago is 1-1 vs. lefties this year.
So bet on Loaiza and the Sox to get the win at home.
