The Florida Marlins were the hottest team in the majors when they showed up in Atlanta. Now, they're just trying to avoid getting swept. The defending World Series champions look to get back on track as they play the finale of their weekend series with the Braves at Turner Field. Florida arrived in Atlanta with the best record in the majors and a seven-game winning streak, but has dropped two straight, including Saturday's 4-1 loss. Juan Pierre and Luis Castillo, Florida's 1-2 hitters, went a combined 0-for-8, and are 2-for-17 in the series. Brad Penny is 1-1 on the year with a 1.80 era in 2 starts. His opposition Hampton is 0-1 in 2 starts with an era of 16.20 and is averaging only 3.3 innings per start! This brings in the question of the bullpen for Atlanta. Neither team has put up numbers over 220 in the past while. Though both teams can score, I think the opening quarter may be much more a low scoring affair.
Playoffs do not equal the regualr season, and I just see one quarter at 47. This means they'll have to average 58 in the other 3, for me to lose.
I like those odds.

DODGER CANT BE WINNING ALL THESE GAMES.
