Ok this has become spooky. (12-0 last 12 as they say you can look it up) I could go a couple of ways here. I could go the full Wayne A. Root and tell you I am a million % and have never lost a game in my life!

I could also respect the streak as "Crash" Davis taught us.

I choose to respect the streak. always remembering the fact that the "Gambling Universe" is a fragile balance of research, humility, discipline, confidence, karma, and a backdoor cover once in awhile.

With all those parts it is not often when everything is lined up just right. So no matter what happens today I am thankful to the universe for the recent success.

Here we go. A lot of games so a lot of fun.

Michigan Ohio State Over 47.5. To start off Michigan gives up 37+ a game in conference. There is no reason to believe Ohio State, with no pressure, will score at least that. The only problem with the theory is can Michigan score on Ohio State? I am sure cheddar (Rich Rodriguez since his face always looks like he is stopped up from eating a block of cheese) has a few offensive tricks he has been saving. Remember if cheddar figures a way to win all is forgiven in Ann Arbor. The only way for him to win is in a shootout since he has no defense.Tressell is never one to hold back in this game. The weather is good minimal wind. I am looking at some points.

Clemson -21 Clemson is 7-2 ATS and has won the last 4 and again (a theme perhaps) a team that is playing well and peaking at a good time. Virginia is 0-3-1 last 4 without scoring points. Clemson will score and Virginia will have no answers. I expect a blow out and Al Groh stays on the bus as his Virginia career goes over the cliff.

Minnesota +10.5 Iowa playing twelfth straight week. Iowa is 1-6 ATS as conference chalk at home. Minnesota is playing for a bowl game and Iowa is just deflated. A young Quarterback at home for the first time trying to cover double digits with a team that has seen the dream go south. There are some further numbers to back this up but I just look for the hungry team to possibly pull the outright upset.

Rutgers -8.5 Schianno knows the importance of this game for recruiting. Rutgers is 4-0 SU and ATS against the Orange. Rutgers is rested playing only one other time this month. Syracuse is thin and has injuries. They have scored no more than 10 points in the last 3 games. Look for Rutgers to run it up.

Indiana + 2.5 Indiana has actually covered 4 of last 5. Purdue has been very up and down all year. The biggest reason for this pick? Revenge. Joe Tillers last game he blasted IU at home 62-10. IU is 4-1 against teams .500 or below. Look for IU to show up for the in state showdown.

MTSU -10 This is a classic case of teams going in opposite directions. Ark St has lost last 3 straight up and against the number. They are 2-6 ATS for the year. They have scored a high of 18 points in those 3. MTSU has won and covered the last 4 averaging over 40 in those games. MTSU is 7-3 for the year ATS and is clearly on the rise. I will take the better team at home to cover the number going away.

Tennessee -17 As noted here last week Vandy can't catch. On top of this fact this is the 12th week in a row that Vandy has played. Vandy does not have enough depth to handle an SEC schedule and Georgia Tech.Tennessee needs a win, Yes the collapse last week is a concern. I would think that Vandy is a good team for the Vol's defense to get dominate . Do we really think Monte will not have a good coaching week against a lifeless and predictable Vandy ooffense? Vols will wear down and overpower tired and depleted Vandy,

Stanford -7.5 The Game. Stanford has covered the last 10 at home. The Cardinal has revenge on its mind for last years beat down. Cal is beat up and injured. Stanford has a great offensive football team and has scored at least 33 in the last 4 and over 50 last two. It seems they are peaking. The last 3 Cal's biggest output is 24. Stanford can give up a few but in the end Cal will not be able to keep up on the road and Stanford covers at home for the 11th time in a row. I will embrace that number.

Fresno -9 La Tech is dependable as hell. At home they are golden in conference. On the road they are the ugly step sister. It appears to be a rough travel to get in and out of Tech. I really do not know about that but the trend is true. Tech has covered the last 2 against Boise and LSU in which they played good but came up short. Tough trip to Fresno after those and it will show the tank is on empty. Pat "hat" Hill will have Fresno wear down Tech and win going away.

The games started well yesterday but hit the skids late. Finished at 11-8. Could have gone 12-7 if you played Appalachian late at +10. I didn't.

Of course it is. A quick postmortum from so far today. Over Ohio state. What was I thinking? Oh yeah I even tried to justify it. Minn just blew it had all kind of chances including a first and goal from the two very late and managed to screw it up. Number moved so some may have cashed where I did not.Rutgers? no idea there loved that game all the way untill I crashed in flames into the carrier dome.....ouch. Clemson is falling short. Early lead in MTSU and Fresno appears to be trying. I gave out Stan and Tenn earlier. I hope Tenn can score 24 because that shoul be enough. Stan on top of him trouncing USC he is fun and this game alone defines the season there.

Going to try Arizona and Kentucky. 2 dogs since my others worked ou so well. Oregon away from home in Nov, is not very good I will take a small shot. Kentucky only because a read it but when I looked earlier I dropped it from the main picks because no numbers jumped at me. One of the touts loved it. Just to see Georgia lose.
