Good Morning, we start early today. I will follow up later with all of the games but wanted to get these up for now.



Ohio +2.5 I looked at this game and although evenly matched with Ohio at home and getting a small number and Temple not having a game like this in a while, conference championship berth on the line, Ohio will play more expierenced and since they lead the MAC in turnover ratio this I believe will be the difference. I do not overlook Frank (I'll have another beer) Solich. He has been in big games and his coaching staff will handle the moment better. The runningback for Temple is out and is a significant lose as well. Ohio is ready and waiting.

Rutgers -3 I am still trying to figure out why Rutgers crashed into the carrier dome last week. I really liked the game, I backed it up with pretty numbers and they played like ass. So why come back with them? Schiano is a good coach and I would hope that he could get everyone focused against louisville. Rumor has Kragthorpe getting fired. The assistants are busy looking for jobs, Louisville is 5-4 ATS this year. I think the team that is going to a bowl will be better motivated.

I am taking Boise tonight and the write up will follow, but this thing is headed to the moon, I bought this number at 10.5 early in the week and it is 13.5 today. May want to get it before 14. Just a thought.

I'm leaning toward Colorado, Auburn, and Bowling Green

Cincinati -20 money has dropped this game down from 21. Why? Illinois has played two (cough) good teams. Penn St and Ohio St. We can argue the merrits of a top team later. Illinois got crushed in both. I understand the "sandwich " game angle some are taking I just do not think the fighting Zooks have enough to play with a Cincinati team that is still trying to impress voters. Cincy scores early and often on a bad Illini defense and illinois has no answer for the points.

N. Illinois +13.5 I do not understand the line. I do not believe the talent is that far apart. The Huskies have played everyone tough and are 8-3 ATS as a dog. Central Mich has their ticket punched to the MAC championship so no real incentive other than to be ready for that. Classic let down game. Have fun an good luck.

Bowling Green -7.5 This is more a technical play than anything. BG is 10-2 ATS last 11 games in NOV. That alone is enough for me to try this game. Toledo has issues on defense. BG probably need a win to get a bowl bid. BG will throw the ball around and score a bunch against the Rockets poor defense and win this going away.

Akron -15.5 Taking the less bad team here. I explained last week how bad E Michigan is. Look for the home team to have fun and open the playbook for the last game and run it up because they can. Akron does not get this possibility often and I look for them to take advantage,

Buffalo -3 The Bulls have covered 12-15 on the road. I will take the road warriors. Buffalo has covered last 3 to Kent and Kent seems to be in a little downward spiral. I see no reason to buck the road warroior trend of Buffalo.

Wyoming +3 How CSU is favored against anyone is a little beyond me. They have lost last 8 straight and last 5 ATS. Wyoming is 7-3 ATS and although not a great team certainly better than CSU. CSU had big wins early in the season but have showed nothing since. The wrong team is favored here.

Auburn +10 This is a straight Technical play. Auburn at home against Alabama is money. Last 7 they are 6-1. I could make a case for Bama with stats but in this rivalry I will stick with the trend and hope Auburn will score some points which I believe they will.

Tulsa -16. Memphis has had the coach fired and the final meltdown for memphis who will be looking for the bus and the assistants will be on the phone looking for jobs plus just a lack of talent. I can make the case for Tulsa on merrits alone but I do not expect Memphis to even show up. Lay the wood and enjoy the beat down.

Nebraska -10 This game has me torn. Hawkins (yes I am a Boise apoligist) gets another year. Nebraska has one of the best defenses in the nation. Can Colorado show uop and cover a big number at home or did they shoot there wad against OK St? In the end I looked at the Dr. Bob write up and I will lean towards his analysys of this one so I leave my heart out of it.

2 more games to go. Can I really bet on Dave Wandstadt? Stay tuned.

PS watching the Cincinati thing which when I posted it was 20 and when I bet it was 18. I did not understand the love the touts had with Ill and Ron Zook. Cincinati is an elite team and yes it is early but I like the 28-7 start. Has to be a ton the other way on this.

Boise -13.5 Boise is at home and over last 63 they are 61-2. So not only have birds crashed into the field thinking it is water (ouch) but opposing teams do as well. I have seen touts as well as a 1 here like Nevada. Nevada has been hot and there is talk about the 4OT game 2 years ago. Boise on the road last year also just eeked out a win 41-34 because Moore threw 3 interceptions in the 3rd. So since Nevada is 2-0 ATS the last two against Boise you think jump on that trend. Look for Boise to play a tight well executed game and kill the Ault boys and send them crying back to Reno. (No bias here)Boise scores at least 45 so a small play on the over is also warrented. Boise has a good defense which also gets overlooked some (Oregon 8 points) and they will stop the pistol enough to cover. (should an offensive scheme ever be called the pistol? seems a little to lite for football) Can you name the two that Boise lost at home? Washington State in 01 and BC in the bowl game at Boise in 05. Before that you have to go back to 98. Boise has never lost a WAC game (they joined in 2001) at home. Bet against Boise at home at your own peril. You will certainly go busted in the long run doing that. Boise is 4-0 ATS at home this year. (Boise at home as I joke is the kids college fund. It is certainly better than a mutual)

Well 5-5-1 so far today. A mixed bag but fun. Boise on the blue at 10 see the write up above.

Only game I have not picked is WV and Pitt.

WV 0 I tossed this game around and have no other choice or reason except to make the anti Dave Wandstadt pick. Dave can screw anything up.

Boise Nevada over the total 70. I suggested this earlier but the more I think about it the more I believe Boise will get at least 49 so I would believe this will go over.
