Today's Featured Race of the Day from Belmont Park:
BEL Race 8 OClm $75,000N3X (6:36 ET)
#6 Flat Bold 9/5 #2 Birdrun 7/2 #4 Half Metal Jacket 2/1 #1 Greenspirit / #1a I Ain't No Saint 6/1
Analysis: #6 Flat Bold went gate to wire last out to beat Alw-2 optional claimers in his first go off a 6 1/2 month layoff. This colt ended his three-year-old campaign by mixing it up in graded stakes. The colt has won 2 of 3 over the surface here and should move forward second off the bench for the Albertrani barn.
#2 Birdrun drops back into the allowance ranks after a fifth place finish last out in stakes company at Tampa. His career top came over the main track here when he beat Alw-1 foes last fall.
Wagering
WIN: #6 to win at 9/5 or better. EX: 2,6 / 2,4,6 TRI: no play
Today's Featured Race of the Day from Monmouth Park:
MTH Race 11 Clm $10,000 (5:50 ET)
#3 Man of Danger #1 Balraj #9 Favorite Flashback #6 Top Seed
Analysis: #3 Man of Danger was the beaten chalk last out in a runner up finish for a $7.5K tag. The gelding battled for the early lead while down along a dull rail and a racing strip that was playing to outside stalkers and closers. The gelding was nearly four lengths clear of the rest of the field in the effort. He was claimed out of his last start by the Costa barn that is showing a 0 for 6 mark first off the claim. If we go back five years the barn is 5 for 27 first off the claim. The gelding is a three time winner over the main track here and won on the turf here last fall for a $25K tag.
#1 Balraj drops into a softer spot here after checking in fourth against $25K starter allowance company at Philly. The colt weakened turning for home and the jock basically wrapped him up in the stretch. The colt has won 2 of 3 here and makes his third start since last fall. He owns back numbers that are a good fit and expecting him to bounce back here with a better effort.
Wagering
WIN: #3 to win at 5/2 or better. EX: 1,3 / 1,3,6,9 TRI: 1,3 / 1,3,6,9 / 1,3,5,6,9,10
Live Longshots:
These are price plays for exotic players looking to find a couple of extra contenders to use in their trifecta and superfecta wagers. Or for those with smaller bankrolls, you might want to get in a small win-place wager.
Belmont Park
R1: #2 Station Hill 8/1 R5: #2 G.A. Empress 8/1 R9: #10 Lights Out Lisa 8/1 scratch
Good luck today!

OK Vic lets go head to head with Mikey D !
Belmont Park Friday June 18
By Mike Dempsey
Weather: Scattered thunderstorms, high of 93. Winds W at 9 mph. Chance of precip. 40%.
BEL Race 1 Alw $53,000N1X (3:00 ET) ML FAIR #2 Station Hill 8/1 9/2 #7 Flawless 4/5 7/5 #5 Bahama Bound 4/1 9/2 #4 Verse Choir 5/1 6/1 Analysis: #2 Station Hill was a good looking maiden winner last out in her second career start. The third place finisher in the race was Fashion Insider, who graduated in her next start on June 13. She has a nice pedigree and still appears to have plenty of upside potential. #7 Flawless was bet down to 6/5 for her debut and did not disappoint, taking the field gate to wire to win by 13 1/4 lengths. The filly earned the top last out speed fig and will have no problem handling the extra furlong. Race Rating: $$ Wagering WIN: #2 to win at 9/2 or better. EX: 2,7 / 2,4,5,7 TRI: 2,7 / 2,4,5,7 / 2,4,5,6,7
BEL Race 2 Md Sp Wt (3:30 ET) ML FAIR #5 Pretend and Extend 7/2 2/1 #1 Biddy / #1a Sunday Splitsville 5/2 5/2 #6 He Ain't Bluffing 3/1 3/1 #4 Commonwealth Rush 4/1 9/2 Analysis: #5 Pretend and Extend makes his debut for the Violette barn that picked up a win with a firster on yesterday's card as our top pick and hits overall at a 24% clip with first time starters. The filly is by Wildcat Heir (216% winners with debut runners from a limited sampling) out of the stakes winner Conctis ($171K). The colt has been working like he has some quickness and talent. Race Rating: $$ Wagering WIN: #5 to win at 2/1 or better. EX: 1,5 / 1,5,6 TRI: no play
BEL Race 3 OClm $50,000N2X (4:00 ET) ML FAIR #4 Zaphyra 8/5 8/5 #3 Ain't Love Grand 3/1 5/2 #2 Kid Kate 9/2 4/1 #5 Persistently 5/2 7/2 Analysis: #4 Zaphyra gets the nod in this unappealing race if she shows up here. She is also entered at Monmouth Park today, but this is by far the easier spot. Race Rating: $ Wagering WIN: #4 to win at 8/5 or better. EX: 4 /2,3 TRI: no play
BEL Race 4 Clm $15,000N2L (4:30 ET) ML FAIR #6 Dear Marylou 5/1 3/1 #8 Great Cliff 7/2 3/1 #1 Take a Vow / #1a Flaming Punch 5/2 3/1 #4 Fiona Storm 4/1 9/2 Analysis: #6 Dear Marylou tracked the early pace form the inside and finished gamely for the runner up spot at this level in her first go against winners. She broke her maiden two back in her first start for the RRod barn. Third off the bench with a jock upgrade from the seven pound bug to Johnny V. She will be tough here but I doubt we see the 5/1 ML the way this barn has been going. #8 Great Cliff raced a bit green early and drew off late to pick up her diploma last out in her second career start. The Zito filly has some early foot and it would be no surprise to see her move forward off her maiden score in this weak looking spot. Race Rating: $$$ Wagering WIN: #6 to win at 3/1 or better. EX: 6,8 / 1,4,6,8 TRI: 6,8 / 1,4,6,8 / 1,4,6,7,8
BEL Race 5 Clm $25,000N2L (5:00 ET) ML FAIR #3 Untamed Glory 2/1 9/5 #5 Can She Dance 3/1 3/1 #2 G.A. Empress 8/1 6/1 #4 Refinery Fire 7/2 9/2 Analysis: #3 Untamed Glory is back in for a tag after tracking the early pace and weakening to finish fifth last out against $50K starter allowance foes over ground labeled as good. This gal broke her maiden in gate to wire fashion and there is not a ton of speed signed up to go here, and this filly figures to be more of an early pace threat in here. She is a half to a couple of stakes winners, top earner Platel ($251K). #5 She Can Dance came up short in the final furlong last out at this level. She makes her third start of her current form cycle and has run well over the grass here, landing in the exacta in 3 of 6 trips. Race Rating: $$$ Wagering WIN: #3 to win at 9/5 or better. EX: 3,5 / 2,3,4,5 TRI: 3,5 / 2,3,4,5 / 2,3,4,5,6
BEL Race 6 Md Sp Wt (5:32 ET) ML FAIR #5 Fiddler's Chaparito 6/1 7/2 #6 Dougie 7/2 7/2 #2 Barrel of Love 3/1 7/2 #4 Too Tough Jake 5/1 6/1 Analysis: #5 Fiddler's Chaparito dueled for the early lead in the mud and weakened to finish fourth last out. This colt should take to the turf, being out of a Affirmed mare that has dropped a couple of turf winners. The Weaver barn is 21% winners in turf sprints. #6 Dougie has not been seen since '08 where the colt was a good second in his debut. He has a couple of quick works on the morning tab for the Tony D. barn that is 32% winners (with a +ROI) with horses coming back off a +180 day layoff. Race Rating: $$$ Wagering WIN: #5 to win at 7/2 or better. EX: 5,6 / 2,4,5,6 TRI: 5,6 / 2,4,5,6 / 2,4,5,6,8
BEL Race 7 OClm $50,000N2X (6:04 ET) ML FAIR #6 Strong Impact 6/1 9/2 #5 Redefined 5/2 5/2 #1 Gold Vendetta / #1a Star of New York 3/1 7/2 #9 Citifest 5/1 6/1 Analysis: #6 Strong Impact pressed a sharp early pace and weakened to finish seventh last outgoing seven furlongs. Two back off a six month layoff the colt was a solid second, beaten just a length for the top spot. The cut back to six furlongs should suit and this guy should rebound with a better effort in his third start off the bench. Race Rating: $$ Wagering WIN: #6 to win at 9/2 or better. EX: 5,6 / 1,5,6,9 TRI: 5,6 / 1,5,6,9 / 1,2,5,6,9
BEL Race 8 OClm $75,000N3X (6:36 ET) ML FAIR #6 Flat Bold 9/5 9/5 #2 Birdrun 7/2 3/1 #4 Half Metal Jacket 2/1 3/1 #1 Greenspirit / #1a I Ain't No Saint 6/1 5/1 Analysis: #6 Flat Bold went gate to wire last out to beat Alw-2 optional claimers in his first go off a 6 1/2 month layoff. This colt ended his three year old campaign by mixing it up in graded stakes. Race Rating: $$ Wagering WIN: #6 to win at 9/5 or better. EX: 2,6 / 2,4,6 TRI: no play
BEL Race 9 Clm $25,000N3L (7:08 ET) ML FAIR #4 Carmen's Kiss 3/1 5/2 #8 Chicks Are Better 5/2 3/1 #6 Sweet Madness 7/2 4/1 #10 Lights Out Lisa 8/1 6/1 Analysis: #4 Carmen's Kiss beat $25K non winners of two last out in her first start against winners. We already know Weaver hits at a good clip in turf sprints and this filly looks as if she still has some upside potential. #8 Chicks Are Better finished up gamely last out in a runner up finish in her first go off a 2 1/2 month break in her first try on turf. The pedigree is a bit on the light side although she does have one sib that is a turf winner. Race Rating: $$ Wagering WIN: #4 to win at 5/2 or better. EX: 4,8 / 4,6,8,10 TRI: 4,8 / 4,6,8,10 / 4,6,7,8,10
Good Luck today! Please check all program numbers and post times before wagering. Prices listed are the morning line odds followed by fair odds.
Race Ratings: $$$$: The strongest play of the day. Many days there will not be a race at this rating, but when there is, it's straight to the betting window. $$$: These races are the best wagering opportunities of the day. I either have a strong opinion on my top pick or feel this is a great race for value in the exotics. $$: These races are usually races where I do not have a strong opinion, or feel my top pick may end up going off at a short price. A moderate investment only. $: These races are in most cases a pass. Usually races with short fields offering little value or just inscrutable. Small investment or pass.
I post win, exacta, and trifecta betting recommendations. For trifecta players, as a general rule I do not play trifectas or superfectas in fields of seven or less. When playing trifectas, I usually will key top 2 over top 3 over 4 or 5 horses. On occasion I will key top pick over second and third choices over the field, and top pick over field over second and third choices if the race looks chaotic. In the early and late double, I usually use my top pair in each race. Pick 3's and Pick 4's will offer good value as long as the ML favorite is not my top pick in two of the races.

Don't think Vic wants to talk about how the day is going
Bio: Vic Monte learned the "Tricks of the Trade" at the very tender age of 9 years old buy his Professional Gambler Father. Monte was basically raised in a local Bookie Joint in Brooklyn New York. While most young kids were playing sports and going to school, Monte was learning the ropes from some of Brooklyn's Biggest Wiseguys & Professional Gamblers. Monte took all that knowledge & began bring his heat to local bookies across New York. Once the word got out that Vic Monte & his Syndicate Sources were giving head aches to the Big Time Bookies & putting Small Time Locals out of business, he was unable to find any bookmaker that would take his action. Now he offers his Syndicate selections to the General Public. Monte has been making life a living hell for any Bookmaker that takes his action. Now you can get the same Syndicate Selections that the biggest Wiseguys in New York play every night! It take Money to make Money & making money is what Vic Monte is all about!
I think we know what he is all about !
