Illegal immigrants got a chance to speak at the hearings? Why weren't they immediately arrested and deported???
To Bolton -- Come live in Arizona for a few days down near the border, you'll hike your skirt and run so fast to change your ruling you'll wish you never did this. You have made a big mistake. One that will change the course of this country. You'll be the one that people blame for screwing things up all the more.
Did you know that AZ pays the second lowest rate to unemployed citizens at only $240. The only state lower is Mississippi at $230. Do you know why they pay so low in Arizona it's because of the illegals that don't pay taxes, the illegals that take work away from legitimate businesses.
I am going to give an example: Landscaping.... you can call a company that does this work and is licensed, insured, bonded etc and they will charge you $400 on up.... However Hector, Luis, Jose and others will leave cards on your door and will charge you $150- $200 to do the same work. But wait, they can't accept checks or credit cards because they don't have a bank account. It's cash only.... oh wait they don't pay any taxes on this, nothing for local/state/federal. Who wins here? That's just a small example. You can go into the cities and find on the corners 15-20 guys standing there waiting for someone to pick them up to do labor work.... You won't find one black or white guy in the group...... NONE. For all of you people that don't live in AZ or a border state, you have no idea what it's like. Maybe we should send them all to Chicago, Osama's home town and see what happens. While at it, why not send some to your home towns as well. They can be your neighbors..... Be sure to lock up the house and keep the kids inside, not to mention your wife....... Get a gun, you'll need one........ Still don't believe, move to Arizona and be sure to bring a translator...
