Yes, Running back Thomas for N. Texas is playing tonight.
In Sun Belt Conference action how do you ever go against the Mean Green? They lose their best player in RB Cobb and replace him with a freshman who is leading the nation in rushing. N.Texas should be able to move the ball very effectively on the ground against Ark. State, since they average 196 yards and 4.8 YPC and Indians surrender 196 yards and 4.6 YPC.
Some may look at the No.Texas defense and think Ark. State should have success running against No. Texas. In studying the numbers, since the first week in October the Mean Green defense has only allowed 121 yards rushing per game.
No. Texas has only committed 6 TO's in their last seven games, while Ark. State is dead last in turnover margin in the Sun Belt. North Texas is 14-4 77.7% ATS off a win against a conference rival over the last 3 seasons and is a perfect 6-0 against Sun Belt foes.
Expect a steady diet of RB Thomas to wear down the Indians, as the Mean Green win by 14 points.
