**A bad play guys, a really bad call by me. I thought these guys would come out with fire and I didn't think Portland playing their second night of a back to back had a chance. Turns out, Miami is just not that good. Plain and simple.
Still, no chasing, lets keep on rolling and pick some winners.

**Wow. I was wrong about the Lakers line. But, as always, shop for the best price you can. I am seeing LA minus one now - that's a nicer line than -2.5.

Wow. After my first 200 Dime Release of the year with a loser on the Heat, we followed it up with two losing days (0-2, 2-2). Last night, though, we got right back on the winning track. A 200 Dime Winner on San Diego State against a decimated BYU team without Davies. A play which rolled to an easy win and cover.
Lets keep going. Lets win some money. Keep on keepin on.

Recently, I'm sure anyone following The Unfair Advantage knows the bankroll scale has not been as consistant as the beginning of the year (essentially, its been different). This is no good, because as we all know - keeping your bankroll tight and staying disciplined are two of the most important things in sports betting.na plays a marquee game its a 100 Dimer. What I'm getting at is this:
There will be four dime values used on the scale; 40, 60, 100, and 200. I believe in the switch because if a play is good enough to bet, its good enough to bet. No one play has a 100% chance of winning. GOY's followed by another GOY in a different conference.. is total bullshit. What I have noticed through handicapping for The Unfair Advantage is I think all plays are a lot closer in value than some people will lead you to believe. Betting twenty dollars on a five games during the week and followed by one one hundred dollar play on the marquee game? It makes me sick.
This is pretty similar to what I've been doing recently, and I like it; so we're going with it.
Here's a very rough outline: (I do not believe in Plays of the week, or plays of the month; its just to give you an idea)
200 Dime Plays will represent a play of the week (there won't be one every week and sometimes there might be two)
100 Dime Plays will be the play of the day (there could potentially be two of these, maybe none)
60 Dime Plays will be slightly under the play of the day, but I still like the play
40 Dime Plays are plays I believe are worth playing and releasing, but not something I'd bet my house on.
200, 100, 60, 40. Sorry for the confusion. I think this scale will work very nicely, its a lot more disciplined.
