you have the Falcons as a home underdog on Monday Night Football in their season opener playing with revenge for a season ending loss at Philadelphia in the NFC championship game last season. In fact, Atlanta has been eliminated two of the last three seasons in the playoffs by the Eagles. A game you know the Falcons want. Last season Atlanta was 8-1 at home behind Vick. In 2003 Vick was injured and only played weeks 14 through 17 going 2-0 at home and 3-1 overall. The Falcons are 10-1 straight-up in Vicks last 11 home starts and 16-4 in Vicks last 20 home starts over the last 3 seasons. In 2002, Atlanta was 6-3 at home behind Vick in his first year as a starter. The Falcons have made the playoffs in Vick's two full non-injury seasons as a starter (2002, 2004). This should be the Eagles toughest game of the season and you cannot ignore the fact that Atlanta is 25-12-1 in the 38 games Vick has started over the last 3 seasons. Atlanta + is the right side tonight in a much more meaningful game for the Falcons than for the Eagles.

In game wagering at Wagerweb. Atlanta 14-0 after 1 qtr. Taking Philly +7 +120 for the game. I think Eagles come back, they are a veteran team with 3 qtrs to go. 14 isn't a lot to overome with their defense.
