Freak, I thinking maybe you should lump all the football in one section, all the basketball in one section, and so on. Having to click back and forth from college to pro to prediction takes too much time. I end up missing a lot of good information or its too late to post a reply on something. If everything was in one section, someone interested in posting on a pro game tonight might see something to reply about in college or maybe even get a heads up on a college bet. Just a thought.

Actually i agree with the idea.
I mean, everyone posts the dates in their prediction threads anyway, so it would be a bit easier.
I think lumpimg all football in one and all basketball in another would be pretty cool to at least try.

Looking over the forum, the concept behind the setup is pretty straight forward.
The football area has a section to post all football selections, no matter what type it is.
It has an area to discuss college by conferences, and the NFL by teams. The purpose behind this is to have people talk about specific teams and having a thread solely for that team. Of course in NCAA it would be too hard, so it is set up as a conference thread.
The same thing is set up for basketball as well.
Baseball has it's on pick thread area, and the other area is to take specifically about the teams.
Horse Racing and Auto Racing is in one thread only.
The whole point behind a "Sports" & "Gambling" forum is to allow people to enjoy and take part in both. However for some reason the "Sports" part of the forum is lagging participation.
If you look from thread to thread, unfortuneately for the majority of posts, I am the creator of the subject. It leaves a major burden on me to keep the forum fresh of content. I can't name another forum where the owner has to do this. I can understand off season topics getting no action in them. But with the playoffs going, Hoops goings, the pucks flying, this forum should be thriving. Some forums pay people to post, I don't buy that, that is buying people. I don't want to buy people to post, I want people to post because they have passion for the game, or the subject they are conversing in. I have kept the bad element out of this forum pretty good, and will continue to do that. I love the forum, and I love sports, and of course I love gambling.
I hope you feel the same, I know for facts by the reports I get, that there is a lot of people that come to the forum daily. The numbers are mind boggling, compared to the numbers of posts.
I have a lot of things in store for the forum in 2002, the main thing is it costs money. I don't mind spending the money, if it is going to keep people coming back and being active.
You guys are like my extending family, and hey I like talking to you, awhole lot more than talking to myself.
I hope this made some sort of sense, and I will reply to all posts hence forth as always.
 FREAK
