My NBA plays:

Denver +8.5 for 6 units
Houston +1 for 6 units
Dallas +1.5 for 5 units
Philadelphia +21 for 4 units

Denver to keep it close and keep battling.. Faried should be back and Paul is banged up. Houston has been rolling and the west > east. Dallas needs this one.. I lost on them against Sac last time.. I don't think they blow it again. Lastly, 21 points with Philly is cool by me. I believe Warriors will let down a little bit.

Yesterday's (3/26) result (YTD):
My NBA plays: 4-1, +15.4 (93-88-6, -0.7)

My NBA plays:

Atlanta -3 for 6 units
Minnesota -6.5 for 6 units
Portland -12.5 for 6 units
Brooklyn +9.5 for 6 units
San Antonio -6 for 4 units

I don't like playing this much chalk and this much on the side of the public - but I think Atlanta and Minny are good plays. Atlanta Bc Chicago isn't very good and this line is ridiculous.. I still believe it should be 4 or 5. Minny Bc they play well off losses, Towns may go off against Phoenix's banged up big men and I'm not reading anything into the Suns second half against Boston as the Celtics likely let down.

Portland is good here Bc Sac just wanted to smoke Dallas. Rondo hates Dallas and idk if they can match that intensity in Portland.

I like Brooklyn a lot. If you look at their last 15 or so, they only got beat by double digits a couple times and Miami may let down before their west coast trip. You know they're thinking about it!

I also like the Spurs backups; public likes the Spurs no matter what - do they even know it's only backups & Aldridge playing? I like Spurs to "do what they're supposed to" - sounds like something Pop would say.

My NBA plays:

Indiana -7 for 6 units
Brooklyn +7 for 6 units
Houston +2 for 4 units
Oklahoma City -3.na.

Love Brooklyn too. I think they keep this close and have a chance to win outright. Magic win a lot at home in games like these.. But how often do they really beat teams by double digits?

I love Houston here versus the sans-LeBron Cavs. I know the Cavs are motivated after the loss, but without LeBron, I think the rockets are just the plain better team. They attack and I'm thinking Harden drops 35.

Tough game for OKC. After winning vs Toronto, are we siding with the public here? Yeah, why not. I also believe OKC is just plain better than Detroit. After playing a bunch of west teams, this won't seem so bad. Plus, I think Jackson has little brother thoughts with Russ. I think he won't be able to keep up.

My NBA plays:

Atlanta Pick for 6 units
Memphis -2 for 6 units
Minnesota +6 for 6 units
Phoenix +7.na hasn't been playing well lately and seems overvalued in this line, but this is about Phoenix keeping on playing well.

I love the champs here. I don't think they barely eek out two straight games in Utah. Everyone is overreacting Bc they played last night. GS may meet Utah in the playoffs, they will want to beat them tonight.

The Kings love the role of spoiler, so we'll get the effort. We know Washington needs it, but they played too many mins in a game they were never going to win last night! C'mon coach - punt that one! Last time Wash and Sac met, Wash won by 12ish but shot 58% from 3.

I like Kobe to battle Wade this final time and it'll be a decent game. Also, Lakers were just realllllly embarrassed. Heat in a let down spot after a few dozen point wins.

I like a deep Spurs team in this one. NO has the wheels completely off and will punt this one and try in a game they can maybe win tomorrow. I believe the Spurs will take care of business.

The Mavs aren't very good. An aging Dirk is really all of their offense. I figured that out when I lost with them the other day. Knicks have actually been playing well lately, too! Kinda well. I mean not horrible really. Anyway, I'll take the public fade and points here.

There was a point last night when I was 1-5 with my picks and Golden State looked bad.. That pick was lucky as they come.. I took a shot last night and I didn't hit. This wasn't the night I hoped for at all and I will learn from it. I am grateful for a fortunate finish to the night, though.

My NBA plays:

"Who wants it/needs it more?" Will be a frequent question I ask these final few games. The bottom tanking teams are horrible ats in the final 10 games of the regular season.

Boston +3.5 for 6 units
Houston -6.5 for 6 units
Indiana -7 for 6 units
Denver -6.5 for 6 units
Oklahoma City -15.5 for 6 units

Boston will fight and I like the points here and love going against any -2.5 opening line. Houston is better than Chicago and needs it, Indiana is better than Orlando and needs it, and Denver is better than this version of the Pelicans and still believes they need it. Oklahoma City is playing against backups and I saw an interesting stat on ESPN.com - "rarity in the NBA tonight where OKC is -15.5 and getting just 34% of bets. Double-digit faves have gone 18-11 ATS when getting <35% of bets."

For the first time, we will have both a play advised by me and one of my expert plays on the same game and side. This will count as 1 game for 6 units in both my expert plays and my NBA plays YTD #'s. This is a very rare situation promoted by IC's 8 unit play on my side.

My expert plays:

NBA Denver -6.5 (Indian Cowboy) for 6 units*
NHL Toronto +115 (Strike Point Sports) for 4 units*
NHL NY Rangers -150 (Strike Point Sports) for 3 units

*(to clarify, since we are playing an underdog - this play is risking 4 units to win 4.6)

Certainly one of - if not, the - roughest days I've ever had. Certainly just going to own this one and leave it right here. To everyone who's followed this thread, thank you so much for the support and I apologize for the horrible day.

Best of luck to everyone!

My NBA plays:

Miami -8 for 6 units
Toronto -5 for 6 units

I like Miami. That's one of three. With Cousins out, the Kings have been bad. Also, after beating the Wizards they may let down a little. After a bad loss to the Lakers, the Heat will come out firing.

I completely know that the Raptors have a trap game to the nth degree, but don't they want to win this one? They have a soft end to the season and have a chance at the 1. Btw - Conley is out and Allen is banged up. Zebo can only do so much on his own and I have faith that Toronto will not look ahead and I'll take this ripe line.

One more play coming a little later...

My last two NBA plays of the day:

Milwaukee -2.na as it is against Orlando.na coming back home after a win. A good, tough win at home against the Suns and they are in position to win again. They are still a decent home team. Orlando has played outside its mind lately, but I predict a let down tonight.

I also really like Cleveland... I like Cleveland plus the points. If Atlanta does win, it'll be in a dogfight. The Cavs didn't play that heavy of minutes last night in their rout.

My NBA plays:

Denver -9.5 for 6 units
Detroit +3 for 6 units
Philadelphia +11 for 6 units
Portland -5.5 for 6 units

I love Denver here. I think they win by double digits easy. Kings battled last night and their team is just really not good when you take out Rondo and Cousins. Denver was recently eliminated, but they're still fighting and Barton needs a bounce back game.

I like Detroit here. Plus points against the Bulls minus Rose and Butler. They are still that overrated team, everyone, and now they're missing two starters. Detroit is hit or miss, but has said this was their GOY before the Mavs egg.

I wanted to only play three games today and had Philly and Portland left as the third possibility. I couldn't take one off the slate because I like them both though!

I like Philly here plus the points. Indiana has only won one game by more than a dozen in the past twenty-ish and it was against Philly! If I recall, it was backdoor-ish too. Philly is good in the paint and I anticipate this game to be a tight one. I think the line will close at 11 also Bc public has started siding with Indy.

And Portland. Miami just barely hung on and got the win vs Sac last night. They needed that, but if there was ever a "punt" game - this is it. Wade it out again and Lillard has sucked the past few games. I don't think - is it Gragic - Miami can keep up with defending him one on one in a must play great game for him.

My NBA plays: 2-2, -1.2 (103-109-6, -80.7)

My NBA plays:

Brooklyn -5.5 for 6 units
Indiana -3.5 for 6 units

I like Brooklyn. Not a great squad, but they are still trying to win games. The D League Pelicans just over reached and got a W, but I don't think they can do it in the Big Apple. Brooklyn had 100 shots yesterday, they just missed.

The public isn't running to Indiana's side.. yet. The fact that you can catch this at 3.5 right now is nice. I'm sure it'll grow. Anyway, I like the Pacers in a must win game, especially after the Knicks beat their rivals.

Yesterday's (4/2) result (YTD):
My NBA plays: 2-2, -1.2 (105-111-6, -81.9)

I like Boston here as the heavy road chalk.na isn't the best team in the world but are solid at home, that's why they're chalks. Bulls seem to be onto something though and aren't done yet.

Dallas always beats Minnesota. Big brother type deal in the West. They're banged up and are against the walls but I think they find a way to do it.

Lastly, Memphis with a -4.5 line the other way. I'll catch some points and won't be surprised if the Grizz find a way to pull this out. Yes, Orlando is hot but I think they're playing beyond their means lately.
