BeantownJim just stepped into the Bad Man Contest like he walked straight out of Southie with a Dunkin cup in one hand and a chip on his shoulder the size of Fenway’s left field wall. He’s not easing in, he’s kicking the door open and calling out every forum member still sitting on the sidelines like they’re tourists lost on the Green Line. He’s looking around the thread like he’s surrounded by people who talk tough but fold faster than a cheap lawn chair the second it’s time to actually enter. He’s roasting the non‑entrants with that Boston bite, wondering how a bunch of self‑proclaimed sharps can’t even enter while he’s already in and ready to swing. He’s calling out the ones acting like the entry fee is some life changing decision, telling them to stop clutching their wallets like they’re guarding the last dollar in Quincy. He’s dragging the holdouts into the spotlight, pointing at them like they’re standing on the wrong side of a Sox‑Yankees rivalry, asking how they manage to chirp all year but turn into quiet little commuters when the contest opens. BeantownJim didn’t enter to be polite, he entered to make every non‑entrant feel the sting of getting outworked, out‑muscled, and out‑hearted by a guy who came in swinging with full Boston energy, ready to flatten anyone still too timid to step into the contest. ....

Person is 4-0 vs the Mets with a 1.24 ERA. The Phillies are batting a solid .276 vs righthanders as a team in their last 10 games.<BR> The Mets are a mere shadow of the team of last year they are hitting a meager .248 against righties this year. Their record on the road is 10-19. Reed is a good pitcher but he has dropped his last 2 starts against the Phillies with a 3.50 ERA!<P>Play Philadelphia -115

I look for Hudson to continue his roll in this spot.<P>The change from Rapp to Washburn actually lowered the odds, which to me was a win win, because Rapp and Washburn don't scare me period.
