Good day eh, to all you hockey fans who loiter here but do not post. I know, its hard to admit for some that they love hockey, that OK, I understand :)

For the 2 or 3 people that noticed last year, I tried to post my prediction every Saturday for Canadian teams playing that day.

I had a really good year, started out real hot, hitting some parlays. Had a small bad streak as well (I don't call myself poorboy for nothing!!!) but had fun posting picks but work/life got in the way. I will strive to post every Saturday

Seriously though, I love hockey, my team is the Vancouver Canucks, as sad as that may be to some. I was born and raised there so they will always be my team, in good, bad, mediocre, bad, mediocre, and bad times.I think they have a couple more non playoff seasons (and top draft pick next year i hope) and then look out! Canucks in the Finals in 2021... you heard it here first :)

I follow the stats/trends like everyone else, but I go with my gut with some picks, and usually say so, depending how engaged i have been that week. I work with Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and an Edmonton fan, also a Detroit and a New York Islander (first time i have met one) fan so they tell me all the time how great their teams are.

I will post my picks for the playoffs etc during the preseason. It did not work out too good last year but the advantage of hardly anyone following is no one to call me out!

OK, Here goes my 2nd year at trying this. Playoff predictions during preseason... Did not do very well last year but what the hell, here we go... Obviously been some movement with big name free agent and trades, as usual. Couple key injuries and my predictions are out the window but it is still fun to do

No chance of Carolina getting there?

There is always a chance but I don't think so. i think they get in as a wild card and would play Washington. Don't think Caps will go far but see them getting past first round against Carolina
