Sales of the new Vancouver Canucks' lottery tickets are going into overtime.
Retailers have snapped up the entire first run of the scratch-and-win tickets within 10 days, emptying the warehouse of the B.C. Lottery Corporation.
Lottery spokeswoman Alison Lester says the Corporation will be printing another 200,000 tickets.
She believes the Canucks winning record last year helped sales.
The $10 tickets offer cash prizes, as well as game tickets and Canucks' merchandise.
The team gets a 15 per cent share of ticket sales.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation calls the lottery a taxpayer subsidy to big business.
