Texas (Bell) @ Boston (Nomo)<P> Going with the boys from beantown today!<P> Nomo has been solid this year going 11-5 with a 3.90 ERA on the year, 7-1 at home ERA of 3.28 and is 1-0 lifetime against the Rangers with a 4.73 ERA. Bell has been unimpressive going 1-1 with 1 no decision in his last 3 starts with a bloated ERA of 10.34 he is 0-3 on the road with an ERA of 6.26 this is his first start against the Red Sox.<P> Texas is 23-33 on the road, 15-26 as a road underdog and 37-46 against righties. Boston is 27-22 as a home favorite, 32-25 at home 10-3 at home vs Texas and 50-31 against righties. The visiting team is 1-6 in the last 7 meetings. The homeplate umpire John Hirschbeck favors the hometeam with them going 19-5 when he is behind the plate.<P> The Texas bullpen has been good at home but on the road they are a different story with a 4.84 ERA and have given up 74 homeruns. Boston's bullpen has been solid at home with an EWRA of 3.09 this year, in 288 innings pitched they have only given up 99 earned runs with 213 strikeouts.<P>Play Boston -180<BR>
