RobertBIrish JV Squad Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 150 Newberry,Florida	Oakland (Hudson) @ Toronto (Carpenter)<P> I know I am going to catch allot of flack for picking a big favorite but just could not find a reason not to take it.<P> Hudson has been a solid bet this year and is 2-1 in his last 3 starts with a ERA of 3.09, he is 9-3 on the road ERA of 3.03 and is 5-0 vs. Toronto ERA of 2.23. Carpenter has been a big disappointment especially lately going 0-3 in his last 3 trips to the hill ERA of 10.54, he is 1-7 at home ERA of 5.29 and is 1-2 against the A's ERA of 5.97.<P> Oakland is 21-12 as a road favorite, 6-0 as a fav. of -150 to -175, 6-4 on artificial turf, 46-28 at night, 33-26 on the road, 45-31 vs. right handers and over the last 3 seasons they are 12-1 in Toronto! The Blue Jays are 7-11 as a home dog, 0-3 as a home dog of +150 to +200, 35-37 on turf, 27-32 at home, 36-38 at night and 46-49 vs. righties.<P> The Oakland bullpen has been used very little of late and in their last 21.2 innings have an ERA of 2.91. While the BJ's bullpen has been used allot in their last 30.2 innings they have an ERA of 4.40.<P> Bottom line is that the A's are on a 10-0 roll and are looking straight into the post season, while the Blue Jays are making vacation plans!<P>Play Oakland -170<BR>

Bet pays around +110 depending on odds.<P>Yankees -260<BR>Drays moving up in class now after sweeping slumping Twins. Don't see them having enough to beat Pettitte at home. Andy pitches much better at home while, Kennedy struggles on the road. Yanks had a day off the mull over series sweep by A's, should prevail in front of New York home crowd.<P>Dodgers -190<BR>Expos also move up in class after Brewers series. Not discouraged by LA getting swept by Phils. Park is excellent at home, has 1.90 ERA, while Armas is about 6.00 ERA on the road. Dodgers have cashed very well when a -200 or more favorite while the Expos have been very poor +200 or more dogs. Having 2B Vidro is out for spos, really hurts this team. <P>good luck.<BR>

jillmark Veteran Joined: Dec 2000 Posts: 4,986 Likes: 8 USA	hey everybody.........i am back. i have had some personal/legal problems the past few weeks. it has been a nightmare. things are still there, but it is beginning to lighten up. hopefully, getting back to posting can take my mind off a few things.<P>i like atlanta -140 over colorado. rockies have been a dissappointment this year, and glavine seems to be back on track.
