Herndon is 2-3 this year with an ERA of 5.09, in his last 3 trips to the mound he is 1-2 with a very poor 8.79 ERA, he is 0-1 against the Cards with an ERA of 33.00. <P> St. Louis is 15-16 as a road favorite, 72-60 on grass, 45-42 at night, 28-38 on the road and 63-49 against righties batting .252 against them in their last 10 games. The Padres are 15-25 as a home underdog, 12-19 as a home dog of +150 or less, 66-67 on grass, 32-38 at home, 45-52 under the lights and 54-46 against right handers batting a solid .292 as a team in their last 10 games but are only batting .232 at home vs. them. <P> The Cards are heating up getting ready to make a run for the post season and face a pitcher that just last week gave up 11 earned runs to them. <P> Play St. Louis -140 <P><BR>

The Marlins also hit Jon Lieber up pretty good last week. He is a control pitcher and The Marlins usuallly hit the best against those type of pitchers<P>Marlins+150<P>Good Luck,<BR> BH
