POORBOY just stepped into the Bad Man Contest like it was nothing, and the entire forum had to double‑take because the guy literally named Poorboy found a way to enter before half of you. He didn’t hesitate, didn’t whine, didn’t clutch his wallet like it was a family heirloom, he just walked in and signed up while the rest of you are still pacing around like you’re trying to solve a math equation. POORBOY is calling out every non entrant with the kind of disrespect that stings, because if he can get in, what exactly is your excuse? He’s looking around the forum like he’s watching grown adults freeze up over the simplest step, wondering how people with usernames flexing “big bankroll energy” can’t scrape together the courage to join a contest that a guy named Poorboy entered without blinking. He’s dragging the holdouts into the spotlight, pointing at them like they’re museum exhibits labeled ‘Indecision,’ wondering how they manage to talk tough all year but turn into dust bunnies when it’s time to actually enter. POORBOY didn’t come in quietly, he came in to embarrass every lurker who keeps dodging the entry page, to make it clear that if you’re still on the outside, you’re officially getting outworked by someone whose name screams he shouldn’t even be able to afford the ink to sign up. He’s here to stomp on the hesitation, to mock the fear, to make every non‑entrant feel the sting of being passed up by the one guy nobody expected to move first. POORBOY didn’t enter to blend in, he entered to expose every forum member still sitting on their hands, proving that the only thing stopping them is the same weakness he’s calling out right now. ....

Well does anyone think the Giants can repeat last year's acheivement?
Will Pac Bell Park be another huge homefield advantage for the Giants like last year?
Gone is Ellis Burks and Bill Mueller, two players that solidly contributed to the Giants' success. trane,
the pitching staff is going to be pretty decent. Livan will do his usual thing of eating up innings with a quality ERA. Estes and Ortiz should benefit with the new "high" strike zone. Only thing is that the fourth and fifth spot in the rotation is suspect.

Giants signed Benito Santiago to minor-league contract. He will be given a chance to compete for a catchers job on the team.

Russ Ortiz is having a great spring; 1.99 ERA + 20 K in 22+ innings. Giants will need their pitching to step up if they are to repeat as NL West Champs.

The Giants are 3-0 but this weekend, they start on a 9-game road trip playing LA, SD and Milw. We will see how they fare away home.

Well the road trip was less than spectacular (4-5). Home sweet home against the Dodgers for a 3 game set. Lets see if Barry can hit #500 against the hated Dodgers. Giants games are 10-2 on the over/under.

Barry hits #'s 500 and 501 to win the first two games against the Dodgers. [Linked Image from freaksforum.com] Lets see if the Giants can stay undefeated at home.

Livan "fat man" Hernandez goes for the Giants today against the Cubs. He has been shelled his last 4 starts. Lets see if he can rekindle the "fire".

Giants are loving PNC park. [Linked Image from freaksforum.com] 2-0 so far and going for the sweep tonight. Estes goes for the Giants. I'm looking for the Pirates to wake up and win this game. They are due.

Bonds' red hot hitting has not help the Giants in the win column. One win in the last 6 games. Good pitching needs to coincide with good hitting. Hopefully that happens tonight.

Well, lookey here. Bonds and co. put up a bunch of homeruns in the rarified air of Coors Field and get a W. [Linked Image from freaksforum.com]
