The red hot Arkansas Razorbacks will head to Columbia, South Carolina to try and extend their win streak to seven. After dropping four of five games and falling to 2-4 in SEC play, the Razorbacks have won nine straight SEC games, including pivotal wins over Florida, Alabama, and LSU.

It's been a tough season for the South Carolina Gamecocks. This team has been forced to go on pause twice due to COVID-19 complications and the team hasn't had a chance to gel. Starting center Alonzo Frink opted out of the season and only two players have participated in every game this season. Nevertheless, this team is coming off a 21-point road victory against Georgia as they look for their first two-game win streak since early January.

Going for SEC Title
While it's a stretch for Arkansas to win a share of the SEC title, it's still possible if they win out and Alabama loses out. Arkansas also had to fend off Florida from overtaking their #2 spot in the conference standings, so this team should have the right mindset going into the last week of conference play. The Razorbacks have been a cover machine. They are 15-7 ATS overall and 11-4 ATS in conference play.
Arkansas comes in with the 33rd ranked offense according to KenPom. Their offense is 126th in field goal percentage, 55th in ball control, 52nd in rebounding, and 80th in free-throw percentage. On the defensive side of the ball, this is the 13th ranked unit. They are 61st in field goal percentage, 60th in steal rate, 75th in three-point percentage allowed, and 84th in two-point percentage allowed.

Moses Moody is the star of this team. He averages 16.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a steal per game. JD Notae contributes 12.7 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.2 steals, and Justin Smith adds 12.1 points with 6.9 rebounds.

Defending Home Court
The Gamecocks are usually a terrific home team. However, this year this has not been the case as they are just 3-5 at home. Players sitting out due to contract tracing as well as health issues have been a big issue for the Gamecocks, but they haven't had any issues since mid-January. South Carolina plays at the fifth-fastest pace in the nation. The problem for them is that they're allowing 77.4 points per game, while only producing 73.7 on the offensive end.
South Carolina has the 122nd ranked offense. This team ranks 200th or worse in every offensive category outside of rebounding where they rank 38th. Free-throw shooting has been a big issue, shooting just 66.1% which is 307th in the country. On the defensive side of the ball, this is the 84th ranked unit. However, just like on offense, they rank 200th or worse in nearly every category. Where they thrive is turning their opponent over, ranking 27th in this category.

AJ Lawson leads the Gamecocks with 17.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. Keyshawn Bryant contributes 14.4 points with 5.3 rebounds and Jermaine Cousinard adds 10.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.3 assists.

The Mid-American Conference regular season is winding down as the top eight MAC teams prepare for the upcoming MAC Tournament starting on March 11th. On Tuesday evening, the Ball St. Cardinals and Eastern Michigan Eagles face off at the Worthen Arena in Muncie, Indiana. Coming into the game, Ball St. is eighth place in the conference at 7-8 (9-11 overall) while Eastern Michigan is 10th in the conference at 2-10 (5-11). Both teams are coming off wins on Saturday with Ball St. beating CMU 97-91 on Saturday and Eastern Michigan taking out NIU 91-57.

Can Ball St. Keep its Offense Rolling?
After beating Kent St. and CMU over their last two games, the Cardinals have to feel confident coming into this game, especially with that win over Kent St., who are currently tied for second place in the MAC. On the year, the Cardinals are only 6-4 at home but since this will be their final home game of the season, they’ll be motivated to grab a W. In their favor is the fact that they’re facing an EMU squad that is 0-7 on the road on the season. Ball St. has also won the last three meetings against the Eagles, including three in a row ATS.
Ball St. had a heck of a week on offense last week, averaging 93.5 points on 55% shooting over their last two game. Part of that started with guard Jarron Coleman, who became the first Ball St. this year to win the MAC Player of the Week Award. He averaged 25 points and six assists in their two victories last week, but that was not even the most impressive offensive performance of the week. Those bragging rights go to guard Ismael El-Amin who dropped 33 points on 10-17 shooting versus CMU.

EMU Out of the MAC Tournament
This is their second to last game of the season and, unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done for the Eagles to make it into the MAC Tournament as this year’s modification allows only the top eight teams to get in. They can’t even play spoiler since Ball St. has already locked up eighth place in the MAC. Prior to beating NIU, a team that has only won two games overall this season, the Eagles had lost seven straight games so this just has not been a good season for them.
Be that as it may, EMU has proven they can put up points as evidenced by their 71.1 points per game average as well as dropping 91 on NIU on Saturday. Guard Noah Morgan put up a season high 22 points while Yeikson Montero added another 20 and Ty Groce had a double double with 15 points and 10 boards. One thing EMU does well on offense is shoot effectively from the FT line, averaging 76.2% on the season, good for 31st in the nation. On the other hand, they are not so hot ATS this season, going 4-9 overall.

The Bowling Green Falcons, rejuvenated with a four-game winning streak, will host the Miami Redhawks in a Mid American Conference matchup on Tuesday evening. There is only one position separating these two in the MAC standings.

Redhawks fall back to 0.500 in conference play
Season form
The Redhawks have not had a very good season so far even though they are over 0.500. Overall, they are 11-10 but seventh in the MAC standings with a 8-8 conference record. In their previous game, they were beaten 64-51.

Dae Dae Grant has led the scoring for the Redhawks this season, with 13.5 points per game in close to 30 minutes at a field goal percentage of 41%. The passing has been led by Mekhi Lairy, who has managed 3.3 assists per game.

The Redhawks have managed to score as many as they concede. They have scored an average of 72.2 points per game, 178th in the country. Defensively, they have allowed 71.1 points a game.

Bowling Green continue to impress with four-game winning run
Season form
The Falcons have been excellent in non-conference play but they are still sixth in the MAC standings despite owning a 14-9 season record. They are 10-7 in MAC play, and have won their last four games, including an 83-71 win against Akron in the previous game.

As reported by AP: Justin Turner had 19 points and six rebounds as Bowling Green topped Akron 83-71 on Friday night. Kaden Metheny had 15 points for Bowling Green (14-9, 10-7 Mid-American Conference), which earned its fourth straight win. Caleb Fields added 13 points.

The Falcons have built their success around their offense, which averages 79 points per game, 42nd in the country. They have also allowed just 75.1 points per game, which gives them a handy points differential in their games.

Two arch rivals will collide on Tuesday when the Auburn Tigers travel to Mobile and take on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both teams need wins here for very different reasons. Alabama clinches the regular season SEC championship with a win, while a win here would drastically help Auburn's Bubble case.

Dubbed the "Iron Bowl" on the gridiron, these two programs also have an extended history on the hardwood, meeting over 150 times. Alabama leads the all-time series 96-59, and they won the previous meeting 94-90.

It's A Must-Win For Auburn
There's a lot of pressure on Auburn (12-13, 6-10) heading into this game. A win here keeps them in Bubble territory with a respectable resume. A loss here and a pedestrian showing in the SEC tournament may signal the end of a season that had so much potential. After starting 6-2, they stumbled into SEC play and lost four straight games. Inconsistency has hounded Bruce Pearl's team, and they've struggled to close out games, losing six games by six points or less.
They are arguably coming off of their biggest win of the season, and their timing couldn't have been any better. They average an impressive 77.9 points per game, and they're headlined by potential lottery pick Sharife Cooper. The freshman guard joined the Tigers midseason, and immediately took their offensive to a new level. He leads the team in points (20.2) and assists (8.1), which is tied for second in the nation.

Allen Flanigan and Jamal Johnson join him in the backcourt. Flanigan is second on the team in scoring (14.2), leads the team in rebounding (5.4), and he's coming off of a 23-point performance in the win over Tennessee. Jaylin Williams and JT Thor are the starters up front. They both average 4.8 rebounds per game, and they both average over a block per game.

Alabama Inching Closer to SEC Title
After losing on the road to Arkansas last week, Alabama (19-6, 14-2) responded with a tough win at Mississippi State to inch closer to their first SEC title in nineteen years. The Crimson Tide have the look of a one-seed and an impressive showing in the SEC tournament may just garner them one. They boast a decent non-conference resume and they've defeated just about every quality team in the conference, including sweeps of LSU and Kentucky.
Alabama is one of the most talented teams in the country offensively, averaging 79.6 points per game, good for 30th in the nation. They're led by a talented trio in the backcourt. Sophomore guard Jaden Shackelford is a crafty scorer who leads the team in scoring at 14.1 points per game. John Petty Jr. is a physical guard, who averages 12.8 points per game, leads the Tide in minutes (31.3) and can take away an opponent's best player. Villanova transfer Jahvon Quinerly is their best shooter. He scores 12.1 points per game, he leads the team in three point percentage (45.2) and he's hit three or more three pointers in each of the past five games.

Herbert Jones may be the best swiss army knife in the country. Along with averaging 11.1 points per game, Jones leads 'Bama in rebounding (6.1), assists (3.2) and steals (1.8). He's coming off a 14-rebound performance in the win over Mississippi State, and he's flirted with triple-doubles throughout the season. He's capable of guarding positions 1-5, and he's got a future in the NBA. Yale transfer Jordan Bruner joins him up front, and he scored 20 points in the win over Auburn earlier this season.

The Musketeers broke through with a terrific home win over Creighton this weekend. They had lost three of their last four before this victory and just recently lost guard Nate Johnson for the season. In Xavier's win over Creighton, they shot a staggering 66% from inside the arc and assisted on 22 field goals.

Just before Georgetown's game against DePaul on Saturday, news broke that star point guard Jahvon Blair was not going to play due to a coach's decision. Nonetheless, the Hoyas responded with an eight-point victory over DePaul, giving them their third win in their last four games.

Winning on the Road
Xavier has been a terrific home team this season, posting an 11-2 record. However, on the road, they are just 2-3 with their closest loss being by five points. The Musketeers haven't had a chance to play a lot of conference games which is why they've been at home for much of the season. In their first game without Nate Johnson, Xavier was blown out by 15 and allowed 83 points. Most recently, they upset Creighton behind 23 points from Paul Scruggs.
The Musketeers rank 44th in offensive efficiency. They are 54th in field goal percentage, 30th in ball control, 24th in two-point percentage, and 56th in preventing blocks. On the defensive side of the ball, this is the 70th ranked unit. They are 54th in field goal percentage, ninth in preventing free-throw attempts, 30th in two-point defense, and 61st in block rate.

Zach Freemantle leads the Musketeers with 16.9 points and 9 rebounds. Paul Scruggs contributes 14.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists. Colby Jones adds 7.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.

Continuing Great Play
We saw this team respond to Patrick Ewing benching their star player by coming away with a win and now we will see if they can carry this momentum into this contest. The Hoyas started the season 3-8 and 1-5 in conference play. Since then, they are 5-3 and have covered the spread in six of these games. I'm not exactly sure what clicked for this team, but it's interesting how it all happened right after their COVID-19 pause of 21 days. A switch flipped and this team could potentially make a run in the conference tournament.
The Hoyas' offense relies on three-point shooting, free-throws, and rebounding. While they are 118th in offensive efficiency, they are 50th in rebounding, 63rd in three-point percentage, and 41st in free-throw percentage. On defense, this is the 80th ranked unit. They are 110th in field goal percentage, 83rd in two-point percentage, and 64th in block rate.

Jahvon Blair is the clear leader of this team. He averages 15.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Jamorko Pickett adds 12.6 points with 8 rebounds and Qudus Wahab contributes 11.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks.
