Not to mention the White Sox player standing there as well. <p>What a bunch of horseshit this was. I saw the replay several times, and they looked to be backing up and getting out of the way. What a bunch of chicken shits. I bet if it was an umpire, they would've went nuts, or if it was a White Sox player.. What the fuck is wrong with people???<p>Man I love baseball, but this shit is way too much for me. They need to take those idiots and have fastballs tossed at em for 10 minutes. I was shocked to see what happened but I have to stand up for the umpire. Of course the fight was happening right in front of him, but all he had to do was look just beyond them and see a whole pack of Royals charging toward the scene. If the Ump went to his aid, he would have been bulled over by the attacking mob. So I'm not suprised he started backing away. Just my opinion since the ump has not been allowed by the league to stick up for himself.<p>Brian
