Let's take a look at the good and bad month pitchers for April:

APRIL GOOD:
- Roger Clemens: 12-5
- Tim Hudson: 13-4
- Kaz Ishii: 13-2
- Estaban Loaiza: 10-0
- Derek Lowe: 11-4
- Mike Mussina: 11-5
- Curt Schilling: 11-4
- Jason Schmidt: 7-3
- Javier Vazquez: 12-5
- Tim Wakefield: 7-3
- David Wells: 12-4

APRIL BAD:
- Jason Davis: 2-8
- John Lackey: 3-7
- Tim Redding: 3-7
- Glendon Rusch: 3-8
- CC Sabathia: 3-12

Study the list over carefully before you make a play anytime throughout the opening month of the season. If a good month pitcher is in good form and off a loss, you have a play. Conversely, if a bad month pitcher is in bad form and off a win, you have a play. Stick to the game plan, and by season's end you'll have a good year.

- Javier Vazquez: Lost yesterday.
- David Wells: ... Lost yesterday.

Derek Lowe lost today so does that mean he will be a sure thing next game.
He didn't play bad though;

Just that LA has no Hitting. Total of 5 Hits, but they were going up against Schmidt.
