I have a bunch of other threads on here including one with an abysmal start to 2021 with NBA, some parlays, some futures - just straight gambling. This thread will be my 2021-22 NFL plays only. Only sides and a max of one tease per week. 1 & 2 unit plays only, most will be 2. Absolutely no parlays, sir! (Yelling at myself lol)… and max plays of -129 let’s say. Walk away from the -130’s and above.

NFL 9/12

6-ish Point Tease SF & LAR both to -2.5 (-117) for 2 units

9/12 NFL

Carolina -4.5 for 1 unit
Miami +3 for 1 unit

I’m not going to get the chance to bet these two, but I would. I only post what I have action on, this is an exception.

9/13 NFL

LVR +4 (-120) for 1 unit

9/19 NFL

Buffalo -3 (-120) for 2 units
Green Bay -10 (-120) for 1 unit
7 Point Tease BUF to +3.5 & GB to -3.5 (-120) for 1 unit

2021-22 NFL Record: 4-0, +5 units

FYI, I got the Bills at -122 and that tease play at -118 but I just said -120 for both for easier math lol. Also the GB play is for Monday 9/20 not 9/19. And buying the hook on a 10.5 point line is unwise - really, it’s always a sucker’s bet tbh. I’m just trying to stick to my rules of 1 & 2 unit plays, no parlays, and no plays of -130 or heavier.

9/23 & 9/26 NFL

6-ish point tease CAR, BUF, and BALT to -2.5 each (+150) for 2 units
NO +3 (-120) for 1 unit

Got the tease at +155, NO at -118; used even numbers for easier math

YTD: 8-1, +8 units

Ouch! Ok adjusting the rules, adding more to make it tougher for me to go to crazy, in addition to nothing heavier than -130 and one tease per week, that tease must be two plays only.

9/27 NFL

Dallas -3 (-120) for 2 units

NFL 2021-22: 8-1, +8 units

And after today I’m adding a couple more rules for myself to try to keep things within the box of reason. Battle the gambler. No more teases over two teams.. so, nothing heavier than -129 juice, only one two play tease per week, only line manipulating on 3, 4, 6, or 7 and still has to be -129 or less juice. Lastly, the old UA rule I always follow of no straight up ats plays with consistently over 65% consensus on covers Hopefully future me re-reads this someday and listens to it.

10/3 NFL

6+ Point Tease KC to -0.5 & Ten to +3.5 (-140) for 2 units
Chicago -2 (-130) for 1 unit
Dallas -4 (-120) for 1 unit

YTD: 9-1, +10 units

*The tease is my first of a maximum three exceptions to the rules in a season, I got it at -141… getting them to -0.5 was -120 or right about there .. like.. paying the extra 20% vig to get them as live dogs just kinda made sense to me. I can live with this being my first exception of the year. Chicago was at -129, -124 for -2.5 so it made sense I suppose to just do 2 instead of 2.5. 3 was -112 so one couls argue manipulating the line was aggressive, but it’s within the rules! Dallas, I like getting that 4 to a push there. Used even numbers for easier math.

10/10 NFL

7-ish Point Tease TB & NE both to -2.5 (-150) for 2 units
6+ Point Tease GB to +3.5 & Buffalo to +10.5 (-125) for 1 unit

YTD: 12-1, +14 units

*Used my second exception of the year for the Bucs/Pats tease which I got at -152, used even numbers for easier math.

10/11 NFL

Indianapolis +7.5 (-120)

YTD: 14-1, +17 units

*I got this at -118, used even numbers for easier math.

*Indy for 1 unit. Forgot to include that on the last post!

10/16 NFL

7-ish Point Tease Indy & LA both to -2.5 (-150) for 3 units

YTD: 15-1, +18 units

*used my third exception of the year to play this -150 play.. so I felt ok taking the swing and throwing one 3 unit play in there too… this is where I gotta proceed with caution. I like this play but always being careful and (trying to be) in control. Always easier when up, hard not to want to chase when down.

*LA Rams to be specific.. whoops!

10/18 & 10/24 NFL

6-ish point tease/live ML combo play Buffalo ML & New England ML(ish) (-120) for 1 unit

YTD: 16-1, +21 units

Since the exceptions went 3-0, I am giving myself three more exceptions to the rules. This isn’t one, but for these exceptions- they must go at least 2-1 or we are done with exceptions for the season. Speculating on the vig, somewhere around here ish but this sounds fair to me. About to play it myself now

Just placed it and got -132, so I guess this is exception one of this set of three. I’ll officially use -130 for the above play, using even numbers for easier math.

YTD: 16-2, +19.7 units
