Boy maybe the question should be "Are the Lakers going to SWEEP the 2001 NBA Playoffs?"<BR>They certainly are playing like a team with destiny. The "swagger" Kobe talked about is definitely evident. LA seems to forget how to lose. Think Phil Jackson has anything to do w/their success......nah....LOL<P>Tonight is the spurs game 7. If they could some how knock the shakers off of their pedestal with a W then we've got a series.<BR>As I mentioned earlier in the week, I wouldn't try to go against streaks, they'll kill you in the end, so the moneyline is out.<P>I'll bite and take the 6' points tonight, hope the "playoff" basketball gods aren't rearing there ugly heads (carving broom stick handles) and if they do hope<BR>spurs can stay within the generous number.<P>Best of luck to ya.

I would like to see the Spurs make this a series (besides I'm tired of my co-worker talking @#@#!) Hopefully they will come out and play the defense they are capable of and take it to the Lakers. We'll see tonight. Good luck to ya.

If the Spurs are going to win a game, this is the one they will win. The Spurs have EVERYTHING to play for tonight. They should leave everything on the floor. This is the last chance for the Spurs. That is what scares me because I think thos broom sticks that Stewman was referring to have already been carved out. Great post Stewman, humor is always a plus. Lakers can play free and even take chances tonight, I can see this game as a play on the OVER. Spurs must score or they will be all over early. I am playing the over only and I am playing it very small. I have not been playing in a while but will tonight. Good luck to you whatever you decide to do. I just wish someone on the net would move to LA and start making a hat with a broom stick sticking out of it. That was the most pathetic performance by a playoff team I have ever seen. At least the Kings gave the Lakers a game. Are the Lakers that good or are the Spurs over rated? Lakers will sweep the rest of the way and the odds are still very good. Nice prop bet. Either way, the Lakers fans are the worst fans in the world.

I totally agree with ya Steel. Spurs played like awful and it goes to show how the Lakers were the better team here.
