i am keeping a close look at the start of the NBA season when it comes to the totals.<P>with the new rule changes, you are getting different opinions on how the game will be affected. personally, i think it will help scoring.<P>zone defense will keep players fresher instead of running all over the court trying to cover your man. fresher legs means better shooting %. the only drawback is the better players will receive double-teams, the result being a lower number of open looks.<P>it will be interesting to see if teams will use the zone or revert back to man to man. ball handling is at a premium so bet teams that have good passers.<P>as if the game isn't hard enough. some more **** to think about.<p>[color:"#800080" SIZE="1" FACE="Verdana, Arial"][Edited 1 time by stan_the_man on 10-31-2001 at 12:04 PM]</font>

I tend to stay away from totals. It is hard enough to handicap a side, nonetheless figure out what they are supposed to score.<p>NBA is a hard sport to bet everynight and make money. Personally it is a sport I very rarely bet, but when I do, it is usally golden.<p>Can't wait for baseball lol !!!!!!!

To date, 24 games have had totals of 200 and over. 15 of those games have gone under the listed total. That's 62.5%.
I tracked this last year and the results were about the same.

I now it has been a while now, but if this trend is making money, let's get the games listed and do a trend analysis here.<p>We could all use some cash, and a profitable betting strategy. <p>Please advise how it is going, good or bad.<p>We could always fade !!!

one thing i've noticed is when the boys have fresh leggs (any team in nba) they seem to be able to drain the outside shot. Teams had breaks over the hoildays and look at this weeks totals. I see alot of teams hiting the 100 platoe . Maybe even miami???
